Your video states that the since the vehicle is not equipped with a primer pump, it is vital to prefill the filter before starting your car. It then says to take a container filter (whatever that means) with oil and fill the filter. I'd hate to think that someone might mess up their engine. Surely it should be diesel? I have to say though, so far I have found your videos very informative. Many thanks!
Thought exactly the same thing. Wow! Great video, but the narrator needs a check. Otherwise it could be a how to destroy your car tutorial. You have to be so careful these days.
I just performed a fuel filter change on my 308 BlueHDI (Same filter as this car) and only after finishing did I realise the old filter (Not the filter cap) was missing the ~20mm O-ring, whereas the new one had an O-ring. I didmantled the housing to try and find if it had slipped off inside the bottom of the housing but there was no sign of it. In this video at 2:40, I realise the old filter is also missing the O-ring. Are they absent on the original parts for some reason, or do they just slip off very easily and get lodged somewhere inacessible within the filter housing? Edit: Just realised in this video at 3:24 the new filter is also missing an O ring. The mystery deepens...
@@UseTool_EN hi, I confused. when put new filter, add same old diesel which pumped out? new diesel? or oil? what kind of oil? engine oil? same I using for that engine or what? thank You.
@@UseTool_ENMaybe at least change the subtitles or a lot of people might really mess up their cars. Just looking at the comments it might’ve already happened.

good job, easy to listen , thank you
@4:05 Maybe is not a so good idea to prefill the center of the filter just around. And let it soak for a while. Thanks for the video helped alot.

Im using Bilstein or Kolbenschmidt and it comes with oring. Originál from Bosch is without oring.
thank you!
Молодец, круто, красавец
Great video :-)
A lot more work than required, plus you didn’t start the car after to show the total job.
Там, после замены, что с программой еще нужно "шаманить"...
НЕТ?

fill the filter with oil? not diesel?
You are absolutely right, there was a problem with the recording of the voice-over I think.

👌👌👌
Refill with oil?! 🤣 you really shouldn’t be spreading misinformation like that. I hope no one has filled with oil instead of diesel 🤦🏻♂️
