This dish is always my go to when I want to introduce a large group of people to some really delicious Greek food! Because they’re so few ingredients it’s really easy to make it inexpensive! I’ll freeze the chicken when it’s on sale and when I need it, this is my secret weapon! I also will use thinly sliced chicken breast instead of thigh for picky eaters! I have probably made it at least 50 times over the years, thank you Demetria!!

At first I thought 720ml chicken stock was too much and it looked too watery, but it thickened up nicely in the end with the cornstarch and was just right. Actually, I didn't have any cornstarch, so used flour, but it worked ok. May add some mushrooms next time too.

Love the recipe - i have thighs with bone, would i have to made any changes to cooking time, etc. (i don’t want to debone, just removed the skin). Thank you.
Thank you! You would have to increase the cooking time by about 15 minutes. The best thing about this cut of meat is that it stays juice no matter what.. ENjoy!
Pork chops or a tenderloin greekstyle... maybe stuffed with feta and spinach or something else but with a sauce ( or gravy). Over orzo or potatoes of some kind...EASIER is better. Or less time to prep. One pot meals baked in a baking dish or casserole dish OR in a Dutch over on stove are BEST! I love Greek food.. seasoning especially anything with LOTS OF FETA!

Chicken breast cooks much faster and if overcooked, will be very dry, so right after browning it, leave it in the plate and cook the potatoes with the garlic and broth. Add the chicken back into the pot with the broth, and follow the remaining recipe instructions. Let me know how it turns out :)

Dimitra's Dishes Update: I made this tonight with chicken breasts and it was delicious. The sauce is really nice, almost like a hollandaise sauce. It was different and soooo good. I browned the breasts and left them out while I cooked the potatoes and when I put the sauce together I put back the chicken to heat up while the sauce thickened. Such a great recipe. I hate those!!! With a passion! I'll check my settings. I do not choose the ads they place but I can block certain kinds of ads and I already have. I'll see if they have a "political ad" option too. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I was under the impression that the ads are customized.. Not sure. all the best and sorry about that.

After that analyzing your browsing behaviour and the information that you shared with them, like age, family status, occupation and other, they put you in a specific target group / category. And when a company or political party or any person with a lot of cash goes to them and pays to reach this target group, they show you a specific add. Hope this helps you better understand how in general it works, as there are many more specifics.

Anna Skendos it reheats perfectly. I usually add a little water to thin out the sauce a bit so it doesn’t get too thick. All the best :)
