The biggest hinderance for Simms is that he looks strictly at the tape. Tennessee's offense is very QB-friendly, Hooker is coming off of a torn ACL & he's 25. The age part of the story isn't about wanting the player for longer, its's about how much additional development they can make & playing against younger competition.

Stroud's footwork and mentality is the biggest difference. He may not have as strong of an arm as Richardson or Levis, but he can pass with touch, has mobility, enough size, and is a true distributor. We will see how it goes when he has NFL defenses pressuring him quickly, with worse weapons and an average O line but he will likely be serviceable year one and has a lot of upside. I don't see a lot of QBs getting a lot more accurate without an amazing coordinator or team around them. Allen and Hurts got amazing weapons and both had good schemes and if Daniel Jones can look decent with Daboll, then of course Allen developed well.

Finally, Hendon Hooker getting some due respect. I think that list is right but only if you move Bryce Young into Tier 3 and Anthony Richardson up into Tier 2. Hate to say it but it's size. I know I know we got the Kyler Murray comparison but they are different bodies and he's much more elusive because he can't be seen a lot as well lol. I hope Bryce Young proves me wrong but I think he's just a good to great QB who shined with other stars in a system that helped him.

If their choice is between Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson, I'm thinking they go with Young. The Cardinals have no reason to draft a QB, so that brings us to the Colts. Who gives a S$#$ if the player is a 2-3 years older , if they are a franchise QB you're still getting a decade out of them rather then a couple bad years and then a cut first round pick. Not enough of the QB's become hits, so what does age matter. Do you think the Jets are happy that Zach wilson is still only 23-24 years old? NO , he isnt going to be in the league after he's 25 anyway or he'll be some backup.
