@@dereton33 Ah, thanks for that. Maybe then I'll have to see about getting a smartphone but then they seem quite expensive compared to my 10-year-old pay-as-you-go basic mobile.
I've always been disappointed in my (wired with plug) EZVIZ camera as it often disconnects from WiFi and I have had to reset it many times. I'm also not happy with the amount of required permissions means that all personal and area information is being hoovered up and sent to the Chinese company from the phone app and probably sold on to advertisers etc. If you deny them it means you can't use the app.

Very good demo , I have the swan security camera it’s not to bad now Swan have sorted out a lot of software issues, PS you have a beautiful garden .

Would animals set the alarm off at night? I have a fox and an owl, the owl likes to fly around the garden with my solar lights, quite a sight!
No it has human only detection. So no false alarms.

I did mention about putting it up high to prevent theft. I only put mine on the summer house to show you. It is not staying there.
