    Wow! So easy to install and feature packed! I really like that you can check battery life from the app, and that human tracking feature is great.
    I was, also impressed with how clear the night photoge was. 👍
    It's great to see assistant Vera chip in from time to time and assist with the reviews😄

    We got EZVIZ cameras back in 2020 from amazon and it was a mess cause they did not want to take them back when these cameras did not deliver as promised. Luckily it was an amazon purchase which finally helped when amazon decided for them to take it back.
    Not real nice experience even though they had described how great they would work and showed features that the cameras were not able to deliver.
    Yes, were not cheap but at the end a total disappointment. We got REOLINKs which worked flawlessly under windows and app.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a shame at least Amazon got your back with the return at least. I've only started to test their cameras out, so didn't try the older models.

      Got both ezviz and reolink. Reolink far more advance apps option.

      I bought a YT2 Camera of them and installation has been real very easy. That for I bought the CS-HB8 which is much mor expensive. But with the last one it has shown impossible to connect to my WiFi. And then I receiced several times the same respnse from the "suppoprt" by saying the same thing that can be found in the manual.
      Teh local support don't speak the local language, they don't take note of the issues and they seems not willing to solve issues.
      Thus the cameras are basicly not bad, but the support is more than just a shame. And if there is no valid support when issues shows up, then the product itself is worthless as well.
      This is why I go ahead to inform otherds about this.

    I think it should come with option allow you to plug in power cable if you want to record 24/7 and dont want to purchase solar panel or swappable battery

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, you can do that, USB 5v 2A is enough to keep it running. I just charged the battery today, it hit 20% took over 2 months

      They could create their own accounts and you are able to share whichever camera(s) you want with their accounts.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you need to have a router with it and the camera connects to that. It can't do camera to phone unfortunately.

    ONVIF support?
    Doesn't seem like it....
    The biggest issue with most chinese cams are their locked proprietary APIs and total reliance on the manufacturer's cloud-bound software in order to operate the devices.
    IoT appliances are a huge security vulnrability thesedays.
    You're practically forced to provide your WiFi credentials to an entity you can never trust.
    Your credentials are kept stored on some database, essentially enabling full network access to potential malicious players, be it the manufacturers themselves, other third parties/hackers and worse.
    I'd guess that at least 95% of people purchasing these products have no clue how to securely configure their networks using designated sandboxed VLANs and such to minimise the risk. And even then...VLANs can also be circumvented.
    Only buy cams that can be completely cut off from proprietary cloud infrastructure provided by the manufacturer.
    Run your own self hosted cloud and use cams that support open source standards that put the choice of which software platforms to use back in your own hanhds.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, no ONVIF support. And what you're mentioning is a risk anything like this including the Robot vacuums.

    • @PhotonDome
      @PhotonDome 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Techtablets Indeed. Yet devices such as robo vacs can easily and effectively be confined to local networks only thus eliminating any remote access vulnrability.
      That is unless you absolutely must maintain the ability to execute a living room cleanup while being out and about...
      Cams see and hear everything within their respective range. Imagine the extortion potential a bad actor can exploit leveraging some spicy piece of footage...

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!
    I have only isues with it and no help from mthe support! I did exchange the camera allready by the dealer and with the exchanged one exactly the same isues. Support does not give any help, but refers only to what is written allready in the manual. And I did spend meanwhile hours to get help with no succes.

      @machwasmakerspace362 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, my cam works as well with several common routers. BUT impossible to connect with ubifi which are known as reliable more sophisticated devices!
      And if I contact support to always receive the same reply, it is no support but just a rip off!
      To receive only messages that can be found in the manual is no help.As well as the local support does not speak the local language
