This is one of the most rewatchable shows ever made. It's so rewatchable. Nobody watches The Untamed just once. It's funny because some parts you can see that their budget was pretty low and they couldn't pull off high special effects... it still doesn't take away from the emotions in the story. The actors and sets and the shots are three things that carries this drama.
I'm not gonna lie, I've watched all 50 episodes of 'The Untamed' at least 10 times without getting bored or feeling less emotional. Each time evokes the same emotions and feelings. I'm not over exaggerating; in my opinion, and I think most people who've watched this drama would agree, 'The Untamed' is the best thing that has ever happened in the entertainment industry. It has everything! It's been 4 years, and we could still watch it for a lifetime.

Im not giving spoilers, but i think this will help. You see the story starts when jin ling's uncle dies to bring back jin ling's uncle, who was killed by jin ling's uncle except not really. So he teams up with jin ling's future uncle-in-law to solve the mystery of a mutilated body which turns out to be jin ling's uncle who was killed by jin ling's uncle and this all culminated in confrontation in which jin ling's uncle, jin ling's future uncle-in-law, jin ling's uncle and jin ling's uncle confronted jin ling's uncle who was stabbed by jin ling's uncle and was killed by the resentful ghost of jin ling's uncle and this was all secretly orchestrated by JIN LING'S UNCLE.

Untamed is based on a novel. So, the drama plot is different from the original one. If you ever liked, loved untamed, you gotta read or find the original story. It's worth it. It has a Novel, Audio drama, Manhwa and a doungha (Chinese anime) I recommend watching the donhgua too. I only couldn't read the original book because I don't know Mandarin. But if I ever I get a chance, I'm ready to learn Mandarin just to read all of her novels (including svsss, tgcf). It's that much worth. They all are nothing but masterpieces. Give it a shot, you won't regret and you'll stick to those characters forever. They'll be no going back
