My heart goes out to the High On Life team, friends, family and fans. You've inspired an ENTIRE GENERATION of travel vloggers and I'm sure many of us have gone too close to cliffs, waterfalls or other dangerous places to get a cool shot. I know I have, but you never expect something like this! In reality, this could happen to any of us - as tragic and heartbreaking as this is, it will serve as a lesson to us all - be safe on your travels.
RIP guys and thank you for inspiring me and countless others to embrace life's opportunities with a positive outlook and pursue our dreams.

I had the privilege of meeting Ryker in person, he was my teachers best friend. He came in for a career session with my class. A genuine and all around a great human being. Sad to hear that he’s gone. Rest In Peace.
RIP to you guys. With millions of followers on social media, you guys inspired countless people, (myself included, as I am from Vancouver too and have traveled to over 35 countries) to live their dreams. On the bright side of this tragedy these young world traveler adventures lived more than most 80 years olds ever did.
Take advantage of everyday ya'll, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone, (which I learned that lesson this month after losing 2 different uncles). Prayers and Blessings.
This gives me the chills. I myself did not watch this channel but it’s definitely gonna blow up. These guys seem so outgoing and carefree I love it. So sad that this was posted a few days before their passing. I guess it’s true when people say “nobody cares until you die” Rest In Peace. Too many people who impacted this world are leaving so soon.
We are devastated to hear of this tragic loss. Rest in peace guys. Thanks to Ryker, Alexey and Megan for sharing their passion for life, exploring and helping guide thousands to be the best version of themselves. You will forever be missed. 😞
A message to High on Life
I started watching High on Life during your Great American Road Trip series. I've been an avid TH-cam watcher for several years before finding your channel, and it wasn't until I started watching your channel that I became inspired to pursue a dream of being a Vlogger. Your channel didn't come without faults or flaws, but in the end, I believe you all have good hearts. The courage, love and spirited adventure laced in your videos is what really connected me to your channel… and no other travel channel. I know I won't ever feel what you all feel right now, but it's crazy to experience such a profound feeling of grief for people I haven't met, yet have come to love and admire. To see my travel inspirations go through this… incident, experience, tragedy… puts more weight on my heart that I've ever felt before. Even though this was a one-way relationship, I had tears rolling down my cheeks and felt nauseous thinking about the fact that these amazing people are gone. But, as tragic as this event is I hope you find comfort in the impact that your channel has had on thousands if not millions of people. Because of you, I've found inspiration to travel. I have found a love for adventure. Because of you, I started a video blog that is recording my journey to the Chicago Marathon to hopefully qualify for Boston, all so I can raise money for Back on my Feet. Because of you, I hope to make a positive impact in the world around me from of what you have taught me. I hope you find a way to do the same. Don't let this break you, let it build you. Don't let this horrible tragedy be your end, let it craft you. High on Life won't be what used to be… and it shouldn't be. If High on Life continues I hope you find a way to start making impacts on the communities you visit instead of just of the travelers you inspire. I love you all in a weird one-sided way.
P.S. If you didn't already know or want reinforcement, none of this is your fault. Keep living life to the fullest.

After spending just a week in Bali, we found that this video was the most accurate on what to do and what to expect. Several friends returned to spend the winter months there instead of being in wintry NY.

FBI Reportedly Mindy slipped into one of the pools at Shannon Falls in BC & the boys jumped in to try to save her. All three were pulled over the edge. So tragic.
