This looks perfect! I love my Uni and I’m still enjoying filling out my care icons, but sometimes it can be a little much for me as a working parent. Plus I miss the screen being on all the time!
Yeah I kinda agree about the screens not being on all the time on color screen Tamas. It's too bad!
I like being able to just look over at it while I'm working to see how it's doing without having to push any buttons!

Bump works best with a character who's heavier, and Sprint works best with a character who's lighter.

I saw the lil worm like tamagotchi when the matchmaker came over and I was like: wtf is that worm 😂😂 but the baby is sooo cute, especially when the adult mom/dad stays for a day or however long it is and helps you take care of baby. I can't wait to get mine! Love your channel!

Omg I preordered the rainbow shell and I’m so exited 💖💖 I never got to actually play through a connection before they discontinued,, so I’m glad they’re doing a re release !

I kinda liked the zoom in feature from the v4 as a matter of fact, I was looking forward to it. I also preordered this clear retro ver.
the V3 and the re-releases have close-up animations too.

The zoom feature is definitely in the v4 as well. It's one of my favorite things from that and I love it in this re-release :D

How strange, in the game "Bump" a bar should appear at the top that goes up and down continuously. You have to wait until the bar is up to the maximum to increase the power of your tamagotchi and have more chances to win. Maybe it's a bug?
And yes, this re-release is focused on the "classic" connections (from v4 onwards they started to have a gimmick)
Good thing they chose the v3 as a base and not the v1 (that had no gotchi points, no store, no codes, only 10 adults...💀)
yeah v3 is definitely a good base gimmick-less tama, which still has so much to offer!
I once saw a bar during the bump game but it flashed away really quickly. Not sure what is going on there.
@@JillGrygas On the original V3 Bump you have to press the B button once it says “Push!”. A bar will show up and you’ll have to press B again once and try to make the bar full black. The less full the bar is, the harder it is to push/bump your rival tama. Easier to win when your tama is heavier in weight, and extra fun when you spam the B button.
Edit: I learned now that you can no longer spam B, doing so skips the animations. You should only press the button twice each round.

Oh, I’m excited! I’m going to get the bubbles one. I paused to read the rules and I think that sprint allows you to use any of the 3 buttons to press allowing for faster running. So I think you can get away with spamming A and C. Could be wrong though.

So fun! I can't wait to get my pre-orders! I pre-ordered the clear retro one and the pink ice cream one. I may get the rainbow one also. lol! I missed out completely on the connections tamas as I'm late to the game lol. But I love my uni and my originals. lol Right now, I'm only running the uni and my 9 yr old loves to play with it too so I'm about to get her her own uni. lol She wants the angel one so I'm about to buy her that one so she will quit stealing mine. lol! Also, I plan on her taking at least one of the connections tamas from me so this way, I'm prepared for that, too. lol! I might be slow, I am new to this channel and just bought one of these! It's in the post! Someone might have posted already - but with bump I remember you had to frantically press the B button to get the bar up and when you press maximum bar it would bump over your opponent. Sometimes weight would be a factor. I wish they had friend codes!
My only complaint would be I wish they had some old V2 characters in this connection, Ginjirotchi, Zuccitchi, Hiratchi and Pochitchi were my top V2 favourite characters. They'd be better substitutes for Decotchi (I always seemed to get him when I was aiming for other better adults!), Warusotchi (his missing tooth scared me!) and Paparatchi (always seemed to have him!) some people never seemed to like Megatchi, but I personally didn't mind him!
Are their beds the same as the old V3?
I’m also missing my favorite characters from the original tamagotchi! I never owned an original V3 so I’m not sure if the bed is the same.

Release get secret characters?
I’m not sure! I’m avoiding guides at the moment to see how many characters I can get on my own.
Do you feel like the faint pixel background is more prominent on the newer models than the original v3s? It looks darker on camera. I’m hoping not. I always remember that faint pixel background only being super visible on my connections when I looked at the device at an angle where as this connection seems to have it constantly. So idk how to feel but I currently have 2 on preorder, so 🤷♀️
How do the buttons feel? Some of the Nanos have rubbery ones that feel too squishy.
Yup I know what you are talking about they kind of stick out a bit and feel weird. I think these buttons are perfect :D

@@Nicoleor2013 there is no official pause feature. You would have to go to the time screen, press the left and the right buttons at the same time, and leave it on “set”.

Press the left and right buttons at the same time and it will ask if you want to turn the sound off.

Not an official one. You can still stop the tama progressing by going to "set" the time and leaving it on that screen, as you can with the original tamagotchis, but the a+b pause wasn't included unfortunately

I think it's been answered, but I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your comment! There isn't an official pause feature like there was on the v4 I played, but I hear you can leave it on the clock set screen to pause it. I haven't tried it yet, I'm having too much fun playing with it lol

@JillGrygas yesss I just called customer support I didn't understand why she said it would be on my door step in 3 business days, now they are saying July 16th, fingers crossed, I ordered on June 3rd I didn't relize

Quick Q: In the time you’ve had it has any dust/dirt/lint gotten in the clear case?
I loved tamagotchis in the 90s! Had the Connection V3 as well so im excited for these and sharing them with my nephew. TY! 🩵
So far I have not seen anything get stuck in it, thank goodness!
