Yes. She is better than both of them. She has a permanent uptime Guts on a skill. Which can be abused as hell in Grail Fronts.
Got her at NP5, Level 120, and 2k Fous. Now I just need to max her appends and she will truly be complete.

Kama with her 4k heal, guts that lasts until it is triggered, full class advantage against alter egos, and the Charm on the NP(aided by skill 3 to practically guarantee it) is still so good to this day. If she were to get a buff, what would you do? Maybe standard damage increase considering she doesn't have super effective damage, and maybe invul pierce? Still amazing to this day.
Nah, I'd have her Ananga EX skill give her a 2 time, 3 turn Evade on top of the Guts. Most endgame bosses these days aren't gonna care about it regardless.
Kama really is still fantastic. So glad I got her previously to NP3 since that’s more than enough damage for me.
Such an absurdly strong single target assassin that still has her niche for crushing alter egos.
Kama is like one of the few assassins that's actually tuned correctly. There's nothing she does that's actually 'too good'. She's just right. Other assassins should have been made better.

Kama is one of those Servants I have to stop bringing to Grail Fronts because she becomes an auto win feature alongside the likes of the strongest Berserker, or the dog in blue tights.

I'd say Year 4 because Ooku came out between LB3 and LB4. Still, Kama was way ahead of her time.
Isn't that because Assassin as a class just kinda sucks.
Yeah shiki is nice, Koyan is a meta support, Grey is pretty dece, but I always feel like alot of Assassins are kinda sucky.

I had 100 tickets and decided to shoot them for Assassin Kama and not use my quartz, got her in like 30 shots, I really needed an assassin and I'm glad I got her.
Now I want to pump up my Avenger Kama from NP1 to NP 3/5 and if I'm lucky, get summer Skadi.
I hope Avenger Kama comes back this summer.

Threw 110 tickets and 19 multis and got NP1. KEK
Shes still good but honestly i don't think it would hurt to finally give her some kind of buff.
Maybe a NP upgrade since all of her skills are still good, but honestly there are way more SSRs 5* servants way worse off than her.
Quite frankly she doesn't need it. If she does get a buff, I'd say her Ananga EX skill could add a 2-time, 3-turn Evade in addition to the 1-time Guts. Damage-wise, she doesn't need anything.
Got both Kamas maxed; between the two of them I can pretty much take on anything. OG Kama isn't just a boss-killer either, she's great for farming when you need what she brings to the table. Likewise, invest in Summer Kama enough and she's a great bosser. But as for this Kama, I'd say if you like her or you like strong Servants, get her - I've personally run OG Kama with double Skadi, or Skadi and any other one of the meta Supports (Castoria, Merlin, Oberon in particular) to great effect. She's not just tied to Skadi and if anything, I'm looking forward to Summer Skadi the most.
Got her a long time ago when this event came out and still find her as a great Boss Killer with proper support. I'm happy this is a skip able banner for me since not having her would have been a horrible temptation
I was Lucky to get NP2 Kama when she FIRST came out. Never looked back! She ROCKS and looks good doing it! Still going to wait till summer for roll, its been awhile...
she is a great unit, but i think after all these year.
its time to buff her, not because she is underwhelming but i just think its a bit unfair for her while some newer servant already got their buff.
like even if they just buff her crit damage from 20 to 30 along with some utility, ill be really happy for that.
It’s not unfair that newer servants got buffs before her when said newer servents likely launched Waaaaay worse than Kama.
It’s like asking for Castoria to get a buff just because she has zero buffs and she dropped years ago. Speaking of fairness: It would be ironically be unfair if Kama got a buff over plenty of servants that badly need one way more than her ass.
The fact that she dropped years ago without a single buff and is STILL one of the best ST Quick in this game shows she is fine the way she is.

After years of trying to get her through gssr and her actual banners, I finally got her and it only took 5 multis. I have interludes, rank ups, free quests and my stockpile of sq ive been saving since the beginning of the year. I have well enough of sq to replenish what i spent on top of anniversary rewards. Since i have a vet account, i will be getting so much in return. Im skipping the anni banner (maybe a few singles since i get most of my servants on tickets) and the rest is going to summer. Debating whether or not to np2 her. Already grailed her to 100 and 10/10/10
remember that you have a 33% chance to get Kama on her upcoming GSSR banner for NA's anniversary. just 15 paid SQs on that chance, compared to 300 sq on average to get her normally.

I actually did a single roll on her banner for the lols. To my great surprise silver assassin card turned gold and there she was.

Got her to NP2 back during the first Ooku rerun, to this day she's still my only Lv120 so far (Melusine is a WIP). She was a blessing in Grail Fronts and against bosses, especially Alter Egos: definitely still incredibly strong.
Also, big mood at the summer preparations, I had to keep a spreadsheet up to date just to ensure I'd have enough SQ to guarantee Skadi this summer! Would probably had more if I didn't get tempted by other banners: I got Morgan, Kriemhild and Charlemagne, so I'm not complaining, but it's definitely stressful when you're unwilling to spend for anything but GSSRs!

I came back to the Game after more than a year of not playing and i got her in a multi
I gave her a single 11-roll and a YOLO ticket. Didn't get her, moved on. Did get to MLB two of the rate-up CEs, though. Was mostly just seeing if I could get her to add another CQ option. Priority is still saving Quartz for Anniversary and Summer Skadi.

I mean what does she really need a buff on? All three of her skills (especially her guts skill) is already very good. Maybe buff her NP just for the standard extra damage + add a damage mod, but even then that feels like gravy rather than a need.

Because she doesn't need it. Kama was already WAY ahead of her time when she was released, and even now in Year 7 she still kicks major ass. Her Ananga EX skill (the one that gives the 1-time Guts that doesn't expire) is INSANELY broken, not to mention the 80% Charm rate on her NP can easily make it to where an otherwise difficult boss can't even get a turn against her. And if you're an Alter Ego like Limbo... you're just screwed.

I think she's more valuable than other ST assassins due to being an alter ego killer (and theres not many of those), but sadly I have no quartz left (and if I had any I'd roll for my bro super orion)
Summer Kama was the reason that I beat Kingprotea in FGO.
If they give her a buff just make her guts stackable and put some quick buff as a bonus!!!!😁😁

@ZTL: I don't understand why you are comparing Kama who is ST to AOE servants. It doesn't make much sense. Kama is best in single target boss fights whereas the AOE servants have their best usages as well. Kama is great particularly when she can charm the boss, less so if the boss has charm immunity. Remember though that there are alter egos that can act as pretty good Rider killers so she's not just competing with other assassins.
you have to consider other use cases as well. granted, you'll almost never be using kama for farming, and even with my hyper kama, i have a hard time finding an excuse to use her, so my super cracked out kama is just sitting pretty and doing nothing unless i get bored.
undoubtedly she's one of the best solo artists in the game, but it doesn't exclude her from comparison from other servants within her class, especially when you remember that the assassin class is objectively the worst class in the game. and that's before taking into consideration a person's needs/wants.
her greatest selling point is her true class adv against AEs, as well as being able to solo anything that's not a caster or ruler, probably. her biggest downside is that she's no longer the undisputed goddess and ruler of the assassin class, and this is before tez.

I only rolled 3 times, 1 more than I planned, but I got Kama to np2 and Parvati to np4.

can someone explain to me about the guarantee 5 star pick up summon? i had 900 quarts and i blew it all on Orion. had 116 left
gssr comes by twice a year, you need paid quartz and you pick from a couple of servant pools and will guaranteed get one.
Guarantee is 330 summons on the same banner, including tickets. If you get them early, the guarantee gets cancelled. If the banner expires, the guarantee gets cancelled.

I'd say just wait for summer honestly. If you absolutely have to try for one I'd say Kama for various reasons.
My self control makes waiting for summer functionally impossible. I can't get 3 SQ without needing to pull, so Kama it is.
Go for Kama, you can borrow an Orion and he works fine
Got her after 25 SQ. I failed on her and Summer Kama years back it was a 400+ SQ failure....but now I have a sexy anti-Caster boss killer.
she's weak to Casters. she is anti-Rider and anti-Alter Ego
The only nitpick i have with Kama is that sometimes i need the boss to kill a support but her charm gets on the way, so i can't use some comps with her 🫤
