That’s the reason he got slashed across his face…according to his statement to police. I think this all happened late 90s.

I met Ray barton in a pub after a west ham game once i offered to buy him a drink without thinking being a bodybuilder he don't drink so he politely declined but bought me and all my mates a drink had a chat for 5 minutes before he headed off the guys a gentleman regardless of what he's done i saw the paper last week about his appeal it's a shame.
I also have met Barton at football. He seems to me s very good and a very bad guy at the same time.Every fiber of my soul tells me he is dangerous but why is he so likeable?
