Salt does corrode aluminum. Galvanic mode, not oxidation / rust like steel. Fresh water will corrode aluminum too. Inspect your coating and keep it maintained. From personal experience living in Minnesota and Wisconsin, steel trailers last longer.
Good video hope the trailers doing well for you. Im in the uk and we don't have manufacturers who make aluminum trailers. I'm in the market to buy a 7x16 for a motorcycle transport business and aluminium is the best choice. Better weather resistant to steel and lighter which means less wear and tear on the tow vehicle. Difficult deciding which manufacturer in the states to go with. Currently looking at haulmark and wells cargo which seem to be part of the same company now. Also like the look of alum line trailers.
Does your trailer have 24" OC or 16" OC for the floor and roof? I plan to buy one and wonder whether 24" OC floor and roof is typical or should I go with 16" OC. Thanks.
Great review. Thank you for putting this together. Where did you end up purchasing your trailer? I'm also in the Northeast.

Looking at buying one next week, thanks for the great review!
Awesome!
Did you get one? What did you pay? Thanks
@@shanelord3472 I bought the Stealth Mustang, its all steel and all black, 16x7' paid about 13k out the door in Ontario Canada
I’m planning on buying cause I have so much stuff in my garage and I want to able to store my stuff in a trailer
any thoughts on using line X on all the exterior seams? along the top and bottom trim as well on the diamond plating and under belly?
Could be good for the diamond plate area.
What's the weight difference from a steel I got 8.5x18 and been thinking of switching to loose some weight but it will have to be a good amount to make the switch
Probably only 10-15 percent lighter
Do you noticed the heat coming from the black because I'm thinking on a black one
We have a smaller white one, both get hot, the side vents keep it nice. I think they also look better and have a better re-sell value. I was thinking of a roof vent but didn’t want to add any more holes than needed
What did you have to pay for it ? Avery good review I have been looking at these for hauling sxs.UTV.
A little over $13k out the door, uploaded another video of the floor and interior we did. I think trailer prices are starting to drop now. But had a hard time finding all black with the aluminum frame.
@@TylerCary hmm...This trailer is pretty much bare bones in terms of functionality. Not sure it is worth that kind of money.
Nice look! Did I miss what you paid? Thanks again!
$13,250ish
I have that same one
I have that light in the back. I have 2 in the back like that, and 2 longer ones on each side
It should be a Drymax wall and floor! Material is water and oil resistant and as strong as Plywood. Benefit to Drymax wood is that it was last longer then the plywood!
We bought an epoxy kit to do the floors sometime next week
if half your wheel well is inside the trailer wouldn't mean LESS interior room not more
Dude, 6 months you’re going to wreck it, and I mean from use. I wouldn’t worry about a random scratch here and there!
This kid doesn’t have a glue, in 3 years this thing will be a beat up. What do you think it will look like when you hit something?
I think you mean “clue”
That’s a $15000 trailer… at least
I got it for $13,500
