This video talks about what is constant elasticity of substitution production function or ces production function in addition to what is the homogenetity of ces production function in economics. it also talks about what is value of elasticity of substitution in case of perfect substitutes and ehat is the value of elasticity of substitution in case of compliments. we also discussed what is the range of value of elasticity of substitution in case of ces production function and when ces production function become cobb douglas production function. this video also give the brief idea of cobb douglas production function and what is degree of cobb douglas production function. in this constant return to scale , increasing return to scale and deccreasing return to scale discussed in case of ces production function. in addition to this the formula of calculating substitution parameter from elasticity of substitution also discussed.
