I believe most regional airports in NZ are undergoing renovations I'm currently doing my PPL training out of Tauranga more to come in the future as far as videos :) next year January I'm flying an a320 from Auckland to Queenstown which I shall review I've booked exit row seats :D
I'm going again to NZ in May this time focusing more on the North Island. This video making we really looking forward to the flight between Auckland and Napier which i think is also on at the ATR72 (they haven't been flown regularly in Australia since Virgin got rid of them a while back! Then heading to Tauranga (which looks really nice and bigger than what i had originally thought it might be) by bus from Napier so should be good!
Apologies for the late reply! Enjoy your trip. Could either be an ATR or Dash 8 for regional towns in New Zealand. Tauranga and surrounding suburbs is huge
@z F yeah hour or longer flights you'll get a hot drink :) on the Tauranga Auckland flight I'm surprised they can get a service done in such short time it's only 20 minutes if that! Cheers for watching not sure when I will travel next

Wow that is a small airport but looks nice. I love flying on those ATR72 planes. A very cool ride

Yep a cookie and cup of water and a lolly before descent. Flights under an hour there's no hot beverages served
I only ask as I had 2 snacks water and a hot beverage on NZ 5114 to akl yesterday. Great trip
