    i lived in riverside for 30 years, 1970-2000. what most people don't realize is the joy of mountain climbing . blue mountain is the tallest near the city, and you can walk right up to the top with no equipment other than good shoes. it's located near highgrove. the view from the top is breathtaking. you will have the whole mountain to yourself, bring your dog, leave the leash at home. at the top you will find beach sand and broken seashells. evidently, it used to be under the ocean. an unforgetable diversion. best enjoyed in cooler temperatures.

    A great place for hiking and mountain biking is Sycamore Canyon Park, the biggest trailhead is on Central Ave and Canyon Crest Drive.

    One place you missed, and is my favorite part of Riverside, is the Arlington heights part of Riverside. It’s a great place to escape the city with its vast orange groves. It also holds the California historic citrus park, which imo is a hidden gem of the city.

      So true! That really is a beautiful area there and I especially love the California Historic Citrus Park. I talked about it in a previous video but I should have brought it up in this one too. I don't think it gets enough attention.

    Bought a home in the Victoria neighborhood of Riverside near the California School of the Deaf and it’s great. Came from Brentwood CA and finally was able to work remote and decided to make the move away from Los Angeles. I’m originally from Claremont and never thought I’d move here in a million years but I honestly was wrong to judge it.

      I agree Victoria is definitely a nice neighborhood here in Riverside. I have heard that more than once about being wrong to judge it here.

    Yes, living in Riverside is great. The prices are much lower than in Los Angeles county. If you have children, you might think twice. The schools are terrible.

    • @JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor

      That's for sure, all of the Inland Empire has lower prices than LA County. As for schools though, the best advice I can give anyone with children is to use independent school ratings from trustable sources such as "greatschools.org". Sounds like you currently live in Riverside then?

    I was taken aback by the homeless/druggies that were getting high behind the K (convenience store), and even out in the streets in a couple places. It made me think twice. The In & Out burger place (on March Air Force Base) took 45 minutes just to get two burgers. I also noticed a huge Mexican population in the area.

    My advice, go South a bit and move to Murietta or Menifee. Better house prices, better place to raise a family, better school districts.

      @@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor I grew up in Mira Loma (now Jurupa Valley) and moved to menifee 6 years ago. My husband grew up in menifee and it’s definitely the best bang for your buck. Although we bought almost 6 years ago when the prices were almost half.

      @JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course you have to keep in mind in CA the cost of living is on the higher side but whether you could live comfortable all depends on what comfortable is for you. Sorry I couldn't answer that better for you.

    Buy in Riverside, but put your children in private school.

      There are quite a few people that prefer private school no matter what city you are in.
