The banter between them while he's waiting for her to get ready is so funny and so real! The actors make this fictional relationship seem so authentic.
This by far is a priceless episode.... the look on Meng face 😆 After watching various Asian series, this is my favorite... I enjoyed the varying degrees of complexity and simplicity of their relationship. They decided what was important and made it work.
The fact that one of them went straight for the phone to take pictures when the main couple walked in is hilarious😂😂😂 Awesome detail because that’s what a friend in real life would do if they knew you were about to see something shocking😂
I loved the book and all but gave an unholy scream when I found out who was casted. Entered into the drama having cautious expectations but was rewarded with one greatly written, televised version. The thing I liked about this story above everything else was how realistic it felt. But to see it so well-done on-screen without heavy drama, without unnecessary dragged on plot, and how true to the book it was was a true treat that I haven't had in so long. Really a favorite Cdrama. Icing on the cake: The chemistry with the whole cast was lovely. And the main lead's? Chef's kiss 🥰
I love the way these two tease each other ... " my girlfriend is a delicate girl" ,, Yutu knew exactly the reaction he'd get from her when he said that. :) And then she gets him right back, by "complaining" about his driving.

Its hard to decide who I love more between Dilraba and Zhao Lu si. But its a pretty close contest. The Long ballad was a masterpiece. And 'who rules the world' was a supreme work of art
I read the novel, but I think Dilraba was excellent. Yang Yang needs to improve his acting more, he's just a pretty face. Although the book is not well written either.
