Richard Sanders did some of the writing for it with his writing partner Michael Fairman. Fairman was the shoe store manager keeping Les Nessman out of his store during Turkeys Away and was Buddy the veteran pilot in The Airplane Show, one of the episodes he and Sanders co-wrote.
