Now, I'm a big bloke with hell of an appetite and this gaf floored me. I have eaten the length and breadth of London and this is the best breakfast joint around. I have no affiliation to it, I live the other side of town but would still travel here. Mind you, it's small and gets very very busy. What John says here isn't a word of a lie and he's a discerning foodie.The quality is off the scale, the presentation impeccable, the staff lovely and the portions HUGE. Even if you go hungry you'll struggle to finish..but it's worth every burp and mouthful..

I'm in Illinois (USA) and we have some great breakfasts here, but mushrooms are never an option. I love mushrooms and every time that I see them in an English breakfast I get SO envious! Several restaurants here serve "skillet breakfasts" and I love it. The food stays warmer longer so that you can talk to your friends without having stone cold food. I love your channel and hope to visit London someday.

I'm a regular visitor at Café Paolo thanks to your original review Darren. You really should try Pauls American breakfast as well, pancakes, syrup, waffles, scrambled egg, hash browns, streaky bacon. Its another belly buster but oh so gooood. 😋

Went there the other week and yes, it’s the best English Breakfast I have ever had! Not just in London, but anywhere. Make sure you are hungry!

Growing up in Liverpool my mum bought all our meat from a great butcher nearby who did the best Cumberland sausage I've ever tasted. She also got great cornish pàsties done with puff pastry from a bakers called Cousins near the butchers. These with her delicious chips and beans were a favourite. You're right Darren nothing like your mum's cooking. That breakfast reminded me too it looked delicious.
I am not in so much in a hurry that I can't enjoy watching you eat a meal you are enjoying, until you finish. You are a pleasure, a treasure. Your photography is astonishing, too.
I love a good english breakfast first i put vinegar, then salt , then put my ketchup on one side , then turn the plate then squeeze on the brown sauce absolutely divine

I'll have to remember that trick with the frying pan, saves on the washing up! That looked a decent bit of nosh, Darren, I couldn't see a thing to fault it, except that it was you eating it and not me! Lovely grub.

Watching you eat is such a delight...I can tell right away if it suits your tastes or not, just by the look on your face...I ordered all the ingredients that I couldn't get in the grocery here, just to try a proper English breakfast...I live in the US & finding the sauce was even an order too...now, OI just need to cook it all, carefully, of course!! Thanks DJ for all the wonderful reviews of these breakfasts...I've always enjoyed breakfast the most...sometimes even have it for dinner.

You can tell how good a place is by the amount of people who go in there.
So after that big breakfast you need a good walk to burn of all those calories.

I went to school in Acton but originally from Hanwell, Ealing. If you ever get the chance, visit the Deep Sea Fish bar on Greenford Avenue. It does amazing fish and chips (rock, haddock and saveloy etc) but also grilled chicken/lamb shish or kofte with rice and salad 👍
Went last summer... twice; because of your previous recommendation. 100% agree. No.1 all the way.... ❤it.

I used to live in South Parade W4 80's and 90's often walked to Acton for brekky or a Kebab/Indian after a few 6 or 7 pints amazing times !

The good thing about breakfast Darren is you can go easy the rest of the day and take some exercise to burn it off 😊 even if you have at lunch lol

check out the fishermans hut in shepherds bush, just by the market for a great fish and chips meal, under a tenner too!

Great vid mate, like seeing you enjoying your nosh, how many of you put butter in your baked beans? I can't eat baked beans without butter, been doing it since I was a kid.
I enjoy a nosh for breakfast but I'm not keen on watching someone else enjoying their nosh at breakfast .

Its funny, I live under 2 mins walk from this place and have ever ever eaten here. Ive walked past it, Ive driven past it, I shop at the Tescos opposite and yet I have never ever eaten here Every review has it as one of the best places for a breakfast in London - I really must go there.

I have yet to have everything else from Pellicci - but then, I have only had breakfast at Paulo too.

Genuine question: you said their food looks great, wraps, omlettes, eggs Benedict etc. why not have something different to another fry up and mix up the reviews a bit? Especially if the food is so good
