Char recommendations:
Paul: easy combos and hits like a truck. Easy to learn strings, too
Law: most of his moves work together so beautifully and dragon stance is easy to comprehend. Powerful rushdown
Claudio: moderate damage and mix. Very powerful hopkick (up+4) and running 2. Instead of playing around with stances, he has an install that strengthens his attacks and gives plus frames
Wht abt jin ots always my turn kazama… ridiculous strings, 214 124 21 and the ridiculous lows d2 d4 db4, and finally his free electric

For real way better and takes more skill than MK. Hardest fighting game ever.
Lars could be the character for you. As a MK player myself, I think, Lars' stances and combos make more sense for an MK player, than some other characters. He also has pretty strong movement and solid mixups. But to get good with him, you need pretty good understanding of fundamentals. You clearly have an understanding of footsies and fundamentals, so this really could be your character.
Now we need to see Waz fight Ninjakilla so he can get a real taste of the Tekken Experience 😂

As someone who doesnt play many fighting games but wants to try, im curious to see how others get better. What they tend to practice and why. Button setup and stuff like that. I play on Xbox.

As a yoshimitsu main he is a bit complicated with his like 4 different stances but you can kinda just ignore those and focus on the main stuff
However you do have to learn manji dragonfly stance because it's kinda essential to his game

@@Wazminator fyi all mishimas are hard for a new player to tekken 🥲 and there no "overhead" like in mk and ofc frame data is kinda different (fastest moves like jabs are 10f)

Learn Heihachi, a bit difficult but definitely the funnest Mishima to play in my opinion

What would be interesting is an insight, after and if you play more Tekken, in what you like more in e.g. MK1 Vs Tekken or vice versa (assuming there are pluses both ways 😅). Your opinion should be more valid than most once you play more Tekken, I suppose.
I would never play Tekken and it doesn't appeal to me but I have acquaintances from mk who say Tekken is better but don't articulate well as to why 😅.
