I know the 'multiplex' stuff has a reputation because that's what the slingshot gurus in Europe use but shouldn't a 'cabinet' grade or 'furniture' grade plywood serve for general use? Also, if you're concerned about weather, isn't there a 'marine' grade plywood meant for boat furniture? Just ideas. I like that you are picking your pieces from so-called "scrap". Good video!

Burning River Bushcraft No offense taken. It takes all types to make the world go around. I gathered some dry Y branches from a dead birch I dropped in my yard three days ago. I will try and make some sling shots for my kids, and me, to target shoot with. The bands are my real issue. (Sling shots aren’t legal in my state.) The kids have too much time on their hands right now. I’m a nurse so I’m still working. Thanks for the great instruction videos. Will make my project turn out much better!
