One of my closest friends back then got on as an extra on Tuff Turf and got paid $20 a day for a few days....she was on the movie itself for about a milisecond. Lol.

Great 80's LA movie, Starring Jenny Wright and Jeff Kober and even Jerry Levine(Styles from Teen Wolf!!) Performance by Siouxsie and the Banshees doing Cities in Dust. If you look close there is a scene with LA punk band The Joneses hanging out on Hollywood Blvd. Thanks again for the great videos!
Great memories I actually took pics myself outside of Morgan's house too in 2012 which is in Culver City and I spoke with one of the guys that plays a villian in the movie aka panchito Gomez who told me some cool stories bout that flick I loved tuff turf as a kid I'm gonna have to but that movie again

CHIPS was filmed at that old high school in 1981 or 82, when Ponch and Bobby were riding together. Bobby’s brother Bruce was a CHP Cadet when they sent him undercover to expose drug sales, illegal betting and even car stripping in the auto shop class. The show also filmed down the street at the former Malibu Castle, former Boomers Arcade at the West End of the Metro Green Line Station in 25:15 Redondo Beach. Right up the street from that Station is where the TRW and Matel Buildings were located. Danny Bonaduce played a student named Myron Finkenbaum, one of the students at that high school. I used to ride the Metro Green Line from Norwalk to the end of the line in what I believe is Lawndale, not Redondo Beach.
Wow another brilliant Location video. I noticed Art Evans the guy playing the security guard I remember when I lived in San bernardino in 87 his brother owned a video store on highland Ave he had pictures of Art all over the store he was a Nice guy.
13:05 You can tell it is a fake wall; just look at the difference between the part on the right of the corner and the portion to the left of the corner. I remember them filming the scenes in Highland Park as I would travel through there frequently. The only reason I went to see this movie in the theater was because it had Kim Richards in it.

Love this movie one of my favorites ! Love the So Tuff song from the soundtrack! Love that part of it was filmed in the valley. It’s so fun showing these films to my kids as they get older and letting them see how things used to look and how many movies were filmed there! Thank you!
I loved this movie when I was a teen. Very under rated, kind of a darker ghetto version of the Karate Kid. This was before James Spader and Robert Downey Jr became A-List actors. Great video and fun to watch. I really miss the simple times of the 80s and 90s.

This was a movie I saw the trailer for back in 1985, probably before Back to the Future or something else, but never saw. It seems to be a forgotten movie. The plot seems similar to Karate Kid. Teen moves to LA suburb, gets bullied, fights back.
The incredibly intense Paul Mones-later writer of two Van Damme hits - THE QUEST and DOUBLE TEAM- hits and direcror of two very good drama starring an unusually unammnered Jeff Goldblum -FATHERS AND SONS- among other films, steals the scenes as the leading bad guy, ´Nick´. As expected, a very good Location video by the 80s Life crew.
