Great video. Was so disappointed that BYD didn't have more of a showing at the event. As you said they could have displayed their Shark 6 and/or Sealion 7 Vehicle to gain more traction into the market. I get the feeling EVdirect don't want to promote their vehicles. Definitely another missed opportunity with so many new competitors coming to market.
Hi David seems that the show may have been a little bigger than Melbournes SUV show but disappointing as you mentioned that the BYD corporate didnt tease out the potential in the Shark 6 and Sealion 7 with a stand. But thats the reality of online sales groups these days. We produced content, Thanks.
I really really like that e07 and I reckon it would sell extremely well in Australia. Our 2 highest selling segments are Utes and SUVs, the e07 is both of those combined!
It was an amazing show, good to see you in Sydney Dave, come back and see us soon.
You provided the best analysis and insight into the exhibition then the other TH-cam videos I watched - impressive material 👏🏻
Thanks mate! Appreciate it!

@@Sensei_Sifu you know what's funny? When I was playing it back while editing I did exactly the same thing 🤣

Interesting to see BYD have already registered to be at the Melbourne one next year. We shall see if it is a dealer or EVdirect.
FYI the GWM Ora does have Android Auto, I have the GT and use it all the time.
@@nursenerine ahh, I was going off info from a review I saw a few months ago. Likely got an update since then
That EV converted old school Porche, did it have PC water-cooling reservoirs in the back?
I didn't ask, but they sort of did look like PC water cooling reservoirs.

Yeh it would have been a good opportunity to showcase the Shark 6 and Sealion 7 demos they have had driving around
Looking forward to the Everything electric show in Melbourne next year

the Deepal EV (Changan) is sort of a China made Mazda bEV / Ford bEV some will perhaps say, due to their joint ventures with the parent company?
