I have the same machine. I am a first timer. Been intimidated to use my machine. Saw your video, you make it very easy and educational. Love the way you show the process. Can not wait to try. Thank you
Great tutorial. I love your calm, down-to-earth demeanor. I’ve been struggling with these onesies. Spending over an hour trying to hoop them. You make it look so easy. You’re an artist with excellent teaching skills. Thanks, Cathy (retired English teacher)
I recently bought a new machine with an embroidery unit. I had NO idea what I could do with it. I watched your video with fascination. Wow! THat was beautiful and you sound like a regular person so that makes me think I have a shot at learning this lol. Thank you so much for this one. I will look for your other videos, especially any that show step by step embroidery projects. Again, thank you and God bless.
Good morning, I started following you this week. I love you for the tiny details. Please bore me with the details. I quilt but I bought an embroidery Machine. I wonder the same thing. Thank you so much for being here. Love the soft spoken. Love the real mommie to. Blessings from Indiana usa
OMG!! Thank you soooo very much! I consider myself to have a little common sense, however, the number of onesies and rompers that I carefully hooped (I thought I did) ended up in the scrap pile because no matter what I did, the machine would eventually get hung on a errant small slice of fabric. I used clips to keep the excess fabric out of the workspace, and those clips wreaked havoc by getting hung up!! I was disgusted because in one day I had ruined 5 or 6 onesies!!! I must be brain-dead. It never occurred to me to hold the fabric out of the way with my hands. The downside is having to sit the whole time if you have a large pattern, but I suppose you could pause it and take a break if needed! WOW!!! I am sooo happy to have found your tutorial and please, if you have time, continue to educate (or should I say, teach us hacks!!) for our Brother PE770! I am forever in you debt!! Kim
Great tutorial! Decided to go back and watch this video. So many TH-camrs who do embroidery tutorials use multi-needle machines. Although I do enjoy watching those videos, I have a single needle embroidery only machine and have no plans to purchase a multi-needle. Thanks for sharing!
I am new to machine embroidery and had heard about floating fabric but finding a video was proving difficult and then today I found you and this video. Ta Dah! Thank you for explaining everything so well. I had been asked for a t-shirt with a red train embroidered on it for my grandson. Bought cheap t-shirts to practice with (thank goodness) but it was all wrong. For a start before anything else was said was the scratchy back and you've solved that problem for me too with Tender Touch. In less than half an hour you have helped me immensely. Thank you so much :)
& ANOTHER 1!!! I'M NEW & LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO FAR!!! I WAS WATCHING ANOTHER VIDEO & SHE MENTIONED YOUR CHANNEL SO I DECIDED 2CHECK YOU OUT... GLAD I DID & GLAD SHE MENTIONED U!!!
I actually enjoyed watching this and you made me giggle so much with the chipmunk voice! The best part was how much I learned! I love your method so much better than trying to hoop the onesie! Thank you so much!
You're exceptionally good at describing what we would need to do - thank you. I have absolutely no idea what to do with embroidery, but your video has answered many of my questions, thank you x
A labor of love sewing this little baby item. Mom’s must really appreciate your fine technique and attention to detail. The Singer scissors are just what I need. Thanks for the info to buy a pair. Great entertainment watching you sew.
Thank you for this video, i bought the pe770 1.5 years ago and have only made 2 things because i am so intimidated but after watching your video it doesn't seem so scary. You did an awesome job.! Thank you again! Wish me luck lol
To me, the lighting was just fine. In fact; although I've had a commercial embroidery machine for over 16 years; I've NEVER done a onesie, (did primarily sports emb), and a friend asked me just yesterday to do a onesie for her new grandson. The concept is the same, irregardless of the machine's size, and your video was so good!!! New subbie just because!!!TFS
I really liked your video. I'm new to automatic machine appliqué and I couldn't understand Anita Goodesign Express instructions. I think they assume you know what they are talking about. I think your video has helped me. I have done free motion machine embroidery and was really happy with it. I will be watching your other videos.
I was the same way at first!! I messed up so many shirts and onesies. I think it is a learning process. I still make mistakes and mess up! but not nearly as much as I did in the first few months...lol!
You mentioned that you wish the glue gun would cut off automatically. The answer is a small timer that plugs into the socket and you plug the glue gun into it. Set it for an hour when using the glue gun and it will automatically cut off.
This was so enlightening. Thanks for this video. I wondered how the onesies were done and you answered questions I had regarding embroidering appliques. Thanks and God Bless
I'm teaching myself to sew and came across your video. Such a very cute onesie. Your instruction is so clear and easy to follow. I don't have an embroidery machine but now I really want one lol.
Thanks for a great tutorial. After having this machine for 5 years or more i attempted my first embroidery without hooping and im pleased with the results. thanks to you.
Thank you for this video, now I know how to do this design. I have the applique on my other machine and I have downloaded some also I just did not understand until this video. Thank you very much. Please keep the videos coming!!!!!!
Back in the OLDEN DAYS, when I had small kids , I used to do some free motion embroidery and appliqués with a non embroidery machine, with and without hoops. I never could figure out how to get inside t shirts already made, let alone a onesie! I may try your technique on a non-embroidery machine and see how it goes. Thanks!
thats adorable and thank you for the tutorial on how to do this. I would be stumped! i'm a beginner so I need all the help and video's I can get. my husband bought me a new Brother Sewing machine and a New Brother Embroidery machine and I just purchased a ton of fabric, two seam rulers, the ink pens and now I need is tons of thread! 🤗🤗🤗🤗 going to start easy as pie, Oh & I have Cricut expression to cut fabric for easy application. I'm so excited!
+Kat Dan Thank you so much!! :) I wanted to do this video for a while I just wish I would have set up my lights. I will try to do a better quality one soon. :)
Thanks for the great video tutorial. I just got the same machine, and it's so helpful to be able to learn from someone with the skills. BTW, please don't use that aerosol can close to your iron! I had a friend who was badly burned when spray from a pressurized can ignited. Ideally you should be taking that spray outside where you won't be breathing so much of it. Be safe!
Your videos are so informative and helpful. I've said that before I think. You should do more of these tutorials! Maybe show us how you embroider names, or initials, or even more appliqués. PLEASE!
I think you are super. This was a wonderful and very informative video and the lighting was not so bad. Thank you and keep up the great works you do. I hope you have a bountiful new year.
You are the best ! My embroidery machine will thank you. I got mine. Fell in love with it when I played around and did plain fabric. But once I tried hooping Onesie's and toddler shirts I either stretched them or they weren't straight. I haven't done anything in a couple months. But now I'm excited to try your way. Thank you !
+Jennifer Black Thank you!! Hope it works for you. This is the only way I am able to do them. I tried hooping them, pinning them.. nothing worked for me other that the spray. It is messy but it works. :)
I am so glad you made this video! I have been wanting to get the brother PE770 but was afraid I was going to get in over my head and with the cost as well. After watching you work with it I have hopes I can figure it out. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos I love to watch your sweet family on the trips and the harvesting of the peaches. Again thanks for sharing!
This video of yours is an absolute God send. I am new to my Brother SE400 and a lot of what you showed is exactly what I wondered in detail and I just bought the temporary self adhesive spray as well as the backing for when done, from Amazon. Thanks so much!
Great work, we generally apply smaller embroidery patterns, this machine looks perfect for more technical embroidery such as the mixed fabric embroidery. We use much larger machines as we embroider in mass volume, this owl would take a long time if we had to mass manufacture. Great work and thanks for the video.
I hate to say it but I use the same machine and you have the top frame upside down. If you look, there are line up markings on the top frame and the wider edges help hold down any stabilizer you might be using.
Hi. Yup! I used to like the grid to lay flat. On this particular hoop, it would not line up with the markings on the frame. I have another one and it lines up perfectly. But yes, it was just what I preferred way back then.
Yes. :) I also noticed that my grid was becoming cracked from doing it like that. So I just use the grid that came with my newer machine for both. Works perfect.
What do you mean by maintain size? Your machine tells you when to change the thread and lay down fabric. What type of machine do you have? If it is the same machine, it will tell you thread colors and your stitches.
Great presentation. You convinced me I can do onesies and to get a new embroidery machine as well. I have been looking at the Brother PE 800 which is just the newer version of what you have. Great job. I will follow you and keep learning.
Have you tried soaking it in hot water & dawn dish soap? It comes right off. I have done this a few times so far after seeing it on JT Hoopitup facebook. It works wonders!
Wow I don't know how to sew I'm going to start learning I saw this sewing machine and wanted to know how it works. I'm going to start with something That's a little more easier for me though.
You are awesome!! Thank you soooo much for this amazing tutorial. Thank you also for letting us know where we can buy the tools you use. I'm looking forward to trying this on my machine.
This was the very first video I watched. I had tried everything but stand on my head. I still cant do this lol. So I bought the easy frames for my big machine, which was expensive
Is it the mighty hoops? The Melco came with 5 of them... I absolutely love them!! just have to watch out though they have bit me a couple time because those magnets are so strong..hahaha!
take a piece of card stock cut out the area of your hoop. this way when you spray you place the card stock first and it saves the hoop from getting sticky. also wonder clips are great to keep the shirt out of the way :) love your videos

I have been a subscriber of your channel for three years now and this is the first time that I have seen this most talked about segment. I love it.
I have the same machine. I am a first timer. Been intimidated to use my machine. Saw your video, you make it very easy and educational. Love the way you show the process. Can not wait to try. Thank you
Thank you! I was intimidated to at first. I only used it maybe 2-3 times the first 4 months I had it. Good luck!
Great tutorial. I love your calm, down-to-earth demeanor. I’ve been struggling with these onesies. Spending over an hour trying to hoop them. You make it look so easy. You’re an artist with excellent teaching skills. Thanks, Cathy (retired English teacher)

Thank you! This gave me an appreciation for people who make products like this, it's so much work.
You’re a great teacher! Thank you!!
Thank you so much Sandy!!♥♥

Thank You for the video.Ill will be doing a shirt for my granddaughters first birthday. It will be my first appliques t-shirt. Very helpful.
You're exceptionally good at describing what we would need to do - thank you. I have absolutely no idea what to do with embroidery, but your video has answered many of my questions, thank you x
Thank you so much for making this video! I have been so lost and overwhelmed and needed tutorials like these that show it step by step

I agree I ve had this machine 4 years never managed it
Thank you for showing each step! I am contemplating buying my machine! You made it look so easy! Thank you again!
To me, the lighting was just fine. So Cute!! I just got my machine and was feeling stressed out at trying to use it. I boxed it up and was going to send it back. So many cute ideas
I was the same way at first!! I messed up so many shirts and onesies. I think it is a learning process. I still make mistakes and mess up! but not nearly as much as I did in the first few months...lol!
My machine arrives Thursday! Your videos are what convinced me to make the investment. Thank you for making these wonderful videos!
hi how is it going with yoir machine
Yeah, how's it going?

Excellent presentation! My neighbor has a Brother PE 770 and loves it. I am definitely thinking about getting one after watching your video.
I like the way you store your patterns on thumb drives

Truly amazing how much creativity and care you put into this! It surely makes me appreciate the next embroidery piece I see.
This was super helpful! I have watched a few videos but this by far has been the most helpful method! THANK YOU!
Glad it helped!
I enjoyed the video. I do not see where the owl is on the wrong side....It is really cute...great tips for a beginner like me..
I agree! I do not see that it was on the wrong side.
Wrong size. It was for an order... They ordered 18m it was 12m. I was killing two birds with one stone. Filming a video and working on my orders. LOL!
This is awesome. So much easier than trying to stretch across the loom. Thanks for sharing.
Great tutorial!! I never could get a onesie hooped!! I am excited to try one now!! Thank you!! Can't wait to see your other videos

Love it. Love how you go through the processes

It came out beautifully so a plus
Best tutorial for embroidering on onesies I have ever seen. Thank you
YOU ARE AN AWESOME TEACHER!! I would love to come learn in person for a day!! $$$$$$
GREAT VIDEO!!! Thanks for answering all of the questions I had about embroidering using fabric.

We use much larger machines as we embroider in mass volume, this owl would take a long time if we had to mass manufacture. Great work and thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing the "Tender Touch" Sulky cover a stitch product. Great job on the project too!
Great tutorial. You have given me the confidence to try this. Thank you!
This video answered all the questions I had. Thank you for sharing. Have a good day. :)

Great Video!! Exactly what I needed to get started with my new PE 700II. Thank you so much!! Great Job!!
That was so fascinating, I've never known how it all works. Thanks

Thank you! Just got my 1st machine today and I can't wait to try this!
Thank you for this tutorial. Well done. Now I feel confident in trying this out..
This has been the most helpful video! Thank you!!!
Very nice applique! I just wished you had explained how to maintain the size, and when to change the thread and add the fabric.
What do you mean by maintain size? Your machine tells you when to change the thread and lay down fabric. What type of machine do you have? If it is the same machine, it will tell you thread colors and your stitches.
Cute design and so very helpful on the tutorial. Thank you.
Am looking to get into this .mabe even a little business of my own . Your channel is a Gods sent to me . You just earn a new subscriber
Thanks for watching!!! :)
I have the same stabilizer in a tube and its the same method and has grid built into it but your instructions are superb
So good! Going to the sewing room to make one now! Thank you!
thank you. very pleasant voice to listen to
Thank you for this video. Easy to follow
I am new to all this. What a great video! So helpful. Thank you so much!
Great presentation. You convinced me I can do onesies and to get a new embroidery machine as well. I have been looking at the Brother PE 800 which is just the newer version of what you have. Great job. I will follow you and keep learning.
Thank you! Your video was very thorough and informative.
Simply Beautiful!!!
Just a quick hint you can use, Goo Gone (removes grease, stickers, tar, gum, crayon, and tape. and your glue.)
Have you tried soaking it in hot water & dawn dish soap? It comes right off. I have done this a few times so far after seeing it on JT Hoopitup facebook. It works wonders!
Brilliant Video. Thanks for taking the time to film and share x
Thank you!!!😊
A pair of scissors with a little curve at the tip for trimming around appliqué and little threads is my favorite.
That was amazing but I can never see myself do this lol. So much respect to you but I love watching these videos please do more
Super creative! Loved it!
I dont have magnets
take a piece of card stock cut out the area of your hoop. this way when you spray you place the card stock first and it saves the hoop from getting sticky. also wonder clips are great to keep the shirt out of the way :) love your videos
+ktme26752 Great tips! Thanks for sharing them!!!! :)
Your really good with this. I have no clue how to even start this.
Thank you so much!! ♥♥
Love your tutorials, you make it look so easy, thank-you
This video is such a blessing - thank you so much for sharing!!!
OOPS, didn't realize I was logged in as hubby - this is Bonnie saying thank you so much for this video. . . I learned so much - I've saved it to my desktop!
Thank you. It was great. I enjoyed this so much. I am considering buying this very machine. You did beautiful work!
