My pie-in-the-sky idea: Pokémon Legends: Mewtwo. You are on a search-and-rescue mission to locate Mewtwo after it's escaped from the laboratory. Intelligence has located it on a remote, uncharted island in the sea, and you are tasked to survey the island and find the location of Mewtwo and recapture it if possible. Gameplay would function similarly to Legends: Arceus, but take place in the modern era with a greater focus on Kanto/Johto Pokémon.

Oh by the way you will have to get mew twice once before the credits so we can have a boss fight. Then after it flies away you can only get it after catching every Pokemon
Always expect mostly mobile stuff you don't care about. Given the currently revealed stuff maybe some Detective Pikachu focus and definitely some SV Dlc stuff. Anything more than that should be a bonus.
The neon glitch aesthetic reminds me a LOT of Ryme City in the movie, so I'm wondering if we'll hear anything about the sequel? It was only confirmed in March though so it seems too soon for a trailer
I think it would be cool to see a paradox form of mewtwo that would be what it would look like if it had naturally evolved instead of being experimented on.
I have my fingers crossed for Red and Blue - I hope they stagger Yellow for later so I feel more motivated to play the OGs over the slightly tuned up version :).
I was a huge Pokemon fan way back in Gen 1 and Gen 2, but none of the games since have ever quite captured my interest the same way. So anything that plays up that nostalgia is always a win. I personally wish they'd have done a "third version" of the Let's Go games with Mew as the mascot, and have the combat *dramatically* more difficult. Also, I'm surprised they've never done anything with the "Armored Mewtwo" design from the first movie. That was such a dope design, I feel like it's just begging to be brought back somewhere.
It’s not the perfect series, but you’re missing out on so much quality if you only played Gen 1 and 2. Gen 3, Platinum and Gen 5 are all incredible. They haven’t had the best 3D era but Legends Arceus and Let’s Go are very fun. Even the lesser Pokémon titles are still pretty good
First dlc will be available as soon as the direct airs considering that’s the start of Obon week (everyone gets about a week off, similar to Golden week) in Japan and kids are out for summer vacation. No better time to release it
Here’s something about Mystery Dungeon though. This franchise will be 30 years old by September of this year, Spike Chunsoft teased a big title in New Years 2023, and there’s been some activities related to this franchise in the past year (a smartphone port of Shiren 5, new cosmetics for Chocobo MD, Torneko’s Great Adventure now available to stream, the company’s trademark appearing in a Pokémon website in February) Maybe Spike Chunsoft have done a trailer for preparing its anniversary, much like what Square Enix did for DQ Monsters’s 25th anniversary this year, with starting with a remake or new game on the Pokémon crossover.
With the good relations that Nintendo has with koei temco I'm hoping they'll green light another conquest game. Or maybe a pokemon warriors themed game.
basically guaranteed to get mobile game updates and dlc news, and something on detective pikachu is also likely, but I'm not gonna expect any big surprises (new mainline game reveal definitely isn't happening until the dlc is finished with)
My guess too much detail on events for the mobile games. New raid events along with a larger patch for the game to prepare for dlc. Dlc trailer given more in depth story stuff for teal mask like they did isle of armor with either a surprise drop or announcement for mid September release date and a release month for part at least. And a detective pikachu trailer and possibly a new spin-off mystery dungeon or other wise planned for late spring early summer next year.
At this point even if I doubt we’ll get it, the one thing that I’d want the most is a brand new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Especially since it’s now been *THREE* generations since the last one with Super Mystery Dungeon. That would be a twist that noone would see coming, but i doubt it will occur. It would be interesting if Glitchtrap forced William and Vanny to become the leaders of a new evil team with fake cover names to hide who they where until you get to the final boss battle which would be harder than normal as Glitchtrap would not only have powerful Pokemon, but multiple legendary Pokemon as his glitching abilities would let him get pokemon you normally cannot get, even hacked Pokemon. A team leader boss that has 8 legendary Pokemon that have hacked moves would be hard to take down, especially if the game "glitches" during battle causing your pokemon to randomly be effected by negative conditions or have there stats lowered. Please, no evolution for Mewtwo. He's already the top of the food. Hain and one of the few legendaries/mythicals that actually has a personality and individual identity. Evolving him would be pointless, in my opinion.

fam how are you the only person who doesnt know a mewtwo normal raid event was leaked ages ago. thats what were getting
i bet it is just Mewtwo in SV raids and that is all for Mewtwo 😞
Mewtwo is already in Unite. I’d expect a channel with this many subscribers to do research before making a video.
NO MORE DEX CUT IN ALL THE FUTURE POKEMON GAMES!
M is for MissingNo.
Please, no evolution for Mewtwo. He's already the top of the food. Hain and one of the few legendaries/mythicals that actually has a personality and individual identity. Evolving him would be pointless, in my opinion.
We need Pokken 2
“Stuff maybe we don’t fully care about” Speak for yourself, not others. People care about the mobile games. If they're “incredibly successful”, then people care about them, right?
Just give us the Game Boy and GBA Pokémon games on Nintendo Online!
Game Boy and Color games are more realistic. I doubt they would put the GBA games to quickly and could save them to next gen Nintendo console
Mewtwo is cool 'n' all... But... Dunno... That's kinda boring
I'm expecting mobile games, merch, Detective Pikachu, S/V DLC date. Gamewise I'm not expecting more.
Im not hyped at all. Until Gamefreak is bought out of the Pokemon company, I'll never be hyped for a Pokemon game. GameFreak is ruining the Pokemon brand even if sales are still doing well.
I mostly blame GF as well, but Nintendo is surely at fault too. They own a third of the Pokémon Company and do nothing about the current state of the franchise
@@gabrielgoes0they can't do anything. 33% share is less than 66% and so long as the TPC is fine with the sales and merchandise; no matter the game quality, Nintendo is powerless.
Imagine still blaming Game Freak to this day when The Pokémon Company is the one creating unrealistic deadline and forcing them to pump out a Pokémon game every other year just to promote the anime and merchandise. :P Couldn’t be me.
blame the entire pokemon company, the guys actually in charge of the brand are generally the ones responsible for a consistent decline in polish
@@amirgarcia547Actually it’s not TPC. GF sets their own deadlines according to the developers.
