She's a great director, she is a true feminist in regard she can go head to head with male directors and beat them at their own game, without trying to lean on her sexuality as an excuse. She just makes great films.
62 here!? Daymn. Beyond stunning inside & out. Classy, smart, charming ah, speaks beautifully etc . Dunno how she's holding up today (9+ yrs later) or 'how' she is in real life. But if even 1/2 of this, ya, *fully get why she barely stayed w/ raging pr!ck James Cameron for 2 yrs ! Lol.
In an interview with John Krazinski, a joke is made about Conan having met Grover Cleveland. "Yes," he says, "the year was 1898." That's a year after Cleveland's second term. Conan's a really smart guy. He gets uncomfortable whenever anyone mentions Harvard, probably because accepting a compliment breaks comedic tempo. Still, intelligence is how you think, and it's clear that Conan thinks quickly.
I wouldn't say the movie she's directing is factually inaccurate. Its that history is a very expansive topic. You could make a whole movie focusing on one topic and leave out important details because so many things happen during a time period. Its the reason why the translation from books to movies is so hard; because books can tell the entire story, movies are only at most 2 hours long.
Why does Teamcoco not upload the entire interview anymore? It says part 1 where is part 2? For the last few weeks ive noticed theyve been doing this and its very frustrating.
People don't like blatantly pro-CIA, pro-torture, ahistorical analysis of events masked as a film that's really about "beautiful, genuinely intelligent, powerful" women as you so contemptibly put it. I guess people are just crazy like that.
Hasn't the Daily Show and the Colbert Report had more scholarly guest from time to time? Yeah, those two have more of a political slant, but I don't think it would hurt to have some higher educated type guests now and again.
teamcoco u always do a horrible job of not putting whole interviews. I know you want people to see the show but I watch the show and want to watch the interview again. Why can't you get on this?? completely horrible at your job!
it really shouldn't be considered impressive for an american to know one of the most momentous periods in his country's history and noticing that its been around 150 years since the end of the civil war is not that impressive either. I dont mean to be rude or anything but Im just trying to get you to notice that
There wasn't a whole lot of things to laugh in this I guess. This was a pretty straightforward segment, but I can also see the inferiority thing come into play.
No, it honestly has nothing to do with that. Her Zero dark thirty film was a piece of CIA propaganda, essentially a government sponsored film. A very dangerous movie, that distorts the truth and spreads a very harmful message. She is a very talented lady as shown in the hurt locker, but her latest effort is incredibly skewed and manipulative.
Hottest 60+ year old woman ever. She easily looks 20 years younger.
She gave us Point Break...for me she deserves heaven.
+Dante Trevisan Lol! :)
she gave us Zero Dark Thirty, she deserves heaven
dude she gave us zero dark thirty
She gave us Near Dark... for me she deserves another Oscar.
Amen!
She's such a good director
A female director who knows how to direct male action. Deserves her success on that merit.
what??
action has gender?!? this is news to me.
Blue Steel was really good.
One of her underrated movies.
Intelligent, talented, classy, powerful and attractive.
She looks really good for her age. Am I right or am i right?
too intelligent and too beautiful man I could replace her as my grandma
htx us h
Your left
one of the greatest directors of all time
Understatement
Interesting to see Conan make a mature conversation!
She's one of the most well spoken people I've listened to in a longggg while, it seems.
One of my favorite modern day directors - love her work!
My favorite movie from 2012. Hats off, Ms. Bigelow.
Such a beautiful woman
She made the greatest movie of all time, Point Break. haha. I love that movie
I do like the more 'comical' bits but I thoroughly enjoy a serious conversation on Conan from time to time. I feel old LOL
To all you critics..."it's not a documentary."
PS - Point Break!
She's so hot.
Climate change !!!!!!!
James Cameron tapped that 😎
@@doritos6893 Dafuq?! 😂🤣
@@samueljamesonfern3245 They used to be married.

she is so eloquent
Near Dark is still her best film. Bill Paxton vampire. Nuff said.
Nah *Point Break*
I can't believe that she's over 60 years old
I wish they hadn't cut the video off while she was still talking.
andy was loving it
read the comment carefully. he's saying the math isn't hard but the impressive thing is that he knew the year.

When is her new film coming out? She's a really great director.
It has everything to do with learning dates, figures and historical events of the past.
Why does Teamcoco not upload the entire interview anymore? It says part 1 where is part 2? For the last few weeks ive noticed theyve been doing this and its very frustrating.
I was thinking that myself. People don't like a beautiful, genuinely intelligent, powerful woman..?
a film like zero dark thirty shouldn't be made. this raid and the search are meant to stay in the shadow
that's a very valid opinion you have there.
You are right
Because it's Part 1, and there's no Part 2. There will never be a Part 2.
You're right

The best director of 2012 along with Affleck. Yup had a tie.
I agree.

He has a history degree from Harvard
This reminds me of Hair.
He studied History at Harvard so he knows his stuff and is quite used to doing math with dates.
Where's part 2?
Saddest comment you can find on a teamcoco's video :(

Well he was a History major...
He has an interest in United State's presidents, so he would know some of these dates
What's with the weird cut?
I liked the interview but you know the video was boring when they title it interview part 1.
very sadly when on the Conan's show older women looks better than my girl friends
Conan's obsessed with Lincoln so he didn't really have to work at it.
Wow, why so many dislikes?
can you go look for your brain? it's probably lost some place, retake all your steps, remember where have you been, you must left your brain somewhere
Didn't he do a history degree?
There wasn't a whole lot of things to laugh in this I guess. This was a pretty straightforward segment, but I can also see the inferiority thing come into play.
He went to harvard...
huh? he said 150? how is that accurate or impressive? he just guessed
Why dont u become a writer and sell the script instead...
them legs
conan couldn't make any joke about it
she doesnt look as old as she is

im not surprised it took short time, its probably going to be shit just like hurt locker
2:40 "since the forties" propaganda?
Which does not anything to do with math
there was no urgency for the movie .. they just wanted to make fast money
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmilf!
Talk about the worst list of supporters
omg
Because it is NOT funny!
