This channel has felt authentic from day one and never pivoted when so many other channels became obvious algorithm chasers.
I blame TH-cam more than the other channel creators.
Thanks for being you, 3x3 Custom!
yeah, and 3/4 of a million subs are well deserved here
Awesome to hear! I’ve always just tried to make videos I myself would enjoy watching 🤷🏻♀️. So I’m glad you enjoy as well!
Absolutamente cierto lo que dices.
This young attractive smiling lady will always be one of my favorite channels not only because of her concise instructions but also because of her honesty in showing the viewers an early on mistake she made in not understanding movement in solid wood construction and how to allow for it. My wife and I see too many channels, even ones that are highly monetized, that never consider shrinkage and expansion in solid wood construction that do a disservice to beginning woodworkers.
Tamar, you are in a league of your own. Your tools and machinery are very impressive but what is most impressive is the way you work with so much attention to detail and really look like you love what you do.
Epic workbench. No one would ever know - from this video at least - that there was an injury involved.
Thanks for posting and thumbs up.
Absolutely wonderful video showing the entire build process ( in time lapse format) to produce a stunning multi-functional workbench. Great skills, attention to detail and superb craftsmanship in every respect. Your workshop that you’ve personally designed and created is fabulous too and such an inspiration for those of us who aim for an equivalent version. Most grateful to you for uploading such creative content - it is most appreciated and a joy to watch and learn from.
So glad you liked it! It’s been really fun to get set up in here ☺️
Watching you build things is always such a blast! That's one heck of a shop and machinery collection you've built since I began following your videos.
By far the best female woodworker on youtube!
I could not agree more. Creative, inventive, thoughtful, clever, meticulous - Tamar is a whole different category of woodworker.
She’s top 1% of all woodworkers on TH-cam, male or female or whatever. She’s the best example of the fact that gender is irrelevant in woodworking like in many other technical disciplines-you need “only” brains and creative curiosity! In fact, of all the woodworkers on TH-cam, she is the most undaunted by new problems and thrives on solving them-the kind of intrepid attitude and confidence usually associated with males (alas, by default, not by evidence)…
And look at what she made in her GARAGE with a fraction of tools and machines of the popular male TH-camrs …. All the features of this workbench-pure briliant
Actually I'd say top 1% regardless of gender. I love that Tamar's whole work/channel/etc has nothing to do with her being a man or a woman, just good presentation, good craftsmanship, and very relatable projects too as a lot are for family (furniture etc). The only part where her being a woman is relevant is for moving around big heavy stuff, or always going the power tool route when others would just hand saw/chisel/hand plane it out. And actually it's super valuable anyway, a lot of people aren't big and strong, and her use of jigs is amazing.
What's the difference between the best male and best female woodworker in your book?
I can watch this over and over. Excellent work. Every video shows me a new tip or better way to work. Thanks.
Awesome to hear!
Looking back over this, I’m struck by how many things were mysterious or intimidating and that this series made me realize were doable. Qtr-qtr-qtr drawers, laminate, dog holes, etc. thanks for all your videos.
Awesome. So glad all the parts were informative!
Amazing. I haven't been putting much time into my woodworking over the past 6 months but watching you build this workbench has giving me that spark to go back and continue some of my projects. I hope someday in the future I can build my own workbench like this.
That’s awesome to hear!
With or without voice your videos are so super. Thanks for sharing 🙏
So glad you enjoy both!
Amazing! Truly amazing how far you have come from your old shop. And if I could just work that fast I could have a similar bench in 24 minutes and 16 seconds. Hope your ankle is coming along... rehab, rehab, rehab.... don't ask how I know this is so very important. Have absolutely loved your channel! First one I ever subscribed to.
Haha. Took me 2 months to build it on my bum ankle!
Your smile at the end says it all!!! It came out great and you have every reason to be proud!! I’m inspired!
Здравствуйте. Это потрясающе . Мастерство исполнения, конструкция продуманная до мелочей - все это шедевр !!!
Beautiful workbench. I love the multiple ways to secure your different workpieces depending on your needs. Clearly a well-thought-out project.
Watched all the build videos, but the overview/summary one is great as it ties it together nicely. The bench is awesome. Well done.
Hi 👋, That was a great build, it is great to see you using your push pads and sticks correctly, I was watching something last week where a young lady was using just hands to push short pieces of wood over the planer/jointer, I past a comment about it, how dangerous it was, my comment was removed, and I was blocked from leaving any more comments,
While watching your video, I saw one moment you were using a Dewalt thickness , and then next moment you’re using, I can’t remember the make of it, I’m more industrial type one, I think it’s the same as your planner joiner, nice piece of kit, I noticed somebody left comments about the drawer activators, leaking oil, Not sure what make they, but I have used similar devices Blum, I think they’re called, they are quite expensive, And I was using these 20 to 30 years ago, when they first came out, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a problem with them,
Keep up the great work. Stay safe. , look forward to seeing some great projects made on your new bench., Phil from the moulin France .
This is one of your many awesome build videos. I do miss the voice over, but by watching your progress this made for a great time-lapse. When you voice over, your experience, confidence and discipline are wonderfully educational. Thank you and congrats on such a fine and well-deserved workbench.
I’m loving watching you. I’m just beginning to get into woodworking. And even what little I’ve done brings such joy. I’m hoping to build something similar to this as I get more experience. Thanks for the inspiration!
THE best bench design, not to mention workmanship on TH-cam. Hats off!
This video was just what the doctor ordered to help recover from the holiday stress! Watching this the morning after Christmas. The visual evidence of your euphoria when challenging tasks come together in a perfect fit are downright therapeutic to see! Lol! It all looks so deceivingly simple in this fast forward view, hiding the untold hours, physical and mental strain, etc. that we’re involved! I built your portable workbench not long after that vid came out, and I’ve used it extensively ever since! This vid has me considering this much bigger build! Kudos to you on both this build, and for having a top notch channel that educates, spawns ideas and entertains all at the same time! Happy early new year!
WOW...!!! You are simply AMAZING...!!! I love your videos...!!! I like that you used your bench to build your bench. I love your NEW SHOP...!!!
Simply awesome! I love your skills and the videos you create. So much attention to detail.
Es un verdadero deleite verte trabajar Tamar.
Hermoso banco de trabajo 🤩!
Gracias por compartir y saludos desde Reynosa México hermosa mujer!!!
Such a beautiful build! Really enjoyed watching you make this, and very impressive to see how the shop built up from the older videos' (like the Dewalt jobsite table saw) to now, very well done.
Hi Tamar!
I miss watching your videos!! Post more!
Turned out awesome - love how many different things you can do with it!
와우.. 아름다운 작업대입니다
이 작업대 위에서라면 작품이 저절로 만들어질 것 같습니다. 깔끔하고 효율적인 당신의 작업에 감탄합니다
That bench is very elegant. I really like the finishes that were selected. Impressive.
Awesome. Well done. It's hard work isn't it. But so rewarding. And yours looks so sparkly clean. Love your homemade jumbo tenons 😅
Great mix of all the functional elements.
👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼
You have the most inspiring channel on TH-cam! Seriously, I’ve learned so much from watching your videos!
Thank you so much for all you do!
Wow, thank you!
Hi Tamar!
You are always innovating! I'm always learning like your videos!! You are the best!!
You are without a doubt one of my favorite channels for wood working. I’ve learned so much from you. Your techniques and attention to detail are exceptional. I loved this video and I think the format you chose was appropriate considering the amount of content it included. However, I do want to say that a big part of what I try to learn is the thought process. I suspect you are aware of the importance of that. Obviously this format omits the thought process but like I said it is appropriate. Thank you so much for sharing the awesome work you do!
The videos with the thought process are already out there 👍. This was just a compilation of the 3 longer videos I did on this build.
You are a joy to watch grow in your skills. You did awesome…love it.
Thank you so much!
love your workshop, love watching how you making your projects, you are unbelievable 😀🥰👌👍
This is why I love your channel, you do beautiful work! I wish I had half of your tools lol! Enjoy your Holidays Tamar!
Thanks so much! You too!
When I got a new table saw I looked at dozens of sled videos before i decided on one you shared. Now I'm going to have to build a whole new work table too. 💵💵💵 Thanks Tamar, great work
The bench turned out absolutely amazing you did such an amazing job keep up the amazing work.
Thank you for showing the exhausting, frustrating and excited sides of such a build. Good to see the emotions in someone that’s better then I am at this 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good work as everytime, Always a pleasure to watch you make, thanks 👍
Absolutely gorgeous table! Amazing work!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Stunning work, Tamar! Really beautiful workbench!!! 😃
My cousin was building one a few days ago, and having some difficulties... Now I remember about yours and some of the techniques you used would've helped him. OPS! 😬
But I sent him the l anyway.
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
And happy holidays!
Hope it wasn’t too late. Ha
You make it look easy!! Excellent work!!
Wow, you work fast 😂😂.
Beautiful job , I reckon a lot of thought went into this build .
Pete Australia 🇦🇺
That smile at the end shows how happy you are with this -- and should be!
☺️☺️☺️
You are amazing and I really enjoy watching your videos! Again, you are amazing!
amazing job and such a badass table. i would have watched an hour long version of the build, kept pausing and going back. you do great work, you should be proud.
So glad you enjoyed it!
I have been a cabinetmaker all my life and now I am retired. You are exceptionally good at your job, congratulations.
Thanks so much!
Your videos are always informative and a pleasure to watch. Very nice work!
Awesome to hear! Thanks!
Soooo nice. It's got all the bells and whistles.
Glad you like it!
Awesome result!
That's a gorgeous workbench
Nice features
Thank you very much!
Looks like a nice looking and functional work bench.
Looks fantastic! Nice work. Wow, look at how far you and the shop have come. Stay safe. 😁
Thanks! It’s definitely been fun to make this new space for myself
Awesome from beginning to end! I'm from Georgia and I miss the voiceover because I love to hear you say drawer. I am a good at spelling but I can't spell it the way you say it, LOL!
Hah well there is already a dedicated video just to the drawers on this build!
hope your ankle is recovering well! great bench build love the design. you killed it
This motivates me to go into my workshop and build legs for my model railway.. This workbench is more usable than the normal ones we use in Europe from Ulmia.
Got to have such envy over the workspace you've created yourself it looks fantastic. I just started about a year ago so I'm slowly collecting things and trying to get nicer ones so that they last but, senior videos makes me want to get into my garage and start cleaning up some of the clutter to plan for the future LOL
Haha give yourself some time… I’ve been doing this for a while now
Adoro seus trabalhos, parabéns pelo belo trabalho de marcenaria que você faz,❤
Great piece of furniture I mean bench for the shop! I liked the style of the video your channel always has great content.👍
Great work bench/assembly bench thank you for the video
Excellent work Tamar God bless
Espectacular!! Felicitaciones, un abrazo desde Villavicencio ( Colombia)
Kendin kadar güzel bir çalışma masası oldu. Tebrik ederim.
An aesthetic, stylish, durable, magnificent workbench
Glad you like it as much as I do ☺️
I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now and this was one I enjoyed the most.
The workbench! it’s so easy in concept but so heavy when your putting it together. That’s what I liked about this build when I was looking for a new bench to build.
Thank you for all that you do and keep up the great work.
Ps: I hope that your ankle is all better now 🌹
So glad to hear that you like it so much! I spent a lot of time on this. So it’s really appreciated. Ankle is feeling a lot better. I still can’t run… or jump…
Merry Christmas to you and yours
You should be proud of your bench. You really thought it out to handle just about any clamping needs. I wish I saw this before I built my work bench. Way to go Tamar!
Thanks so much! Spent lots of time thinking about this. ☺️☺️
I like your machinery and your HNT Gordon vise. Tamar you make beautiful projects.
Tamar, this is an amazing build, very well thought out and executed from start to finish. Love to see some of your expressions of satisfaction or tge sigh when you walked in thinking still so much to do. Your attention to detail and quality of finish is spot on. I do like the voice overs though, that might have been difficult on a condensed video. Great setup you have now, well deserved progress. 😊
Haha glad you enjoyed it all. Yeah, the ones with voiceovers are already out there. It would be way to long if I added a voiceover to this compilation
Tebrikler ustam . Çok güzel işler yapıyorsunuz.
Amazing . Very Very Very fantastic . Thank you very much .
Loved this summary video. Amazing workbench, I just made one myself early 2023 but I now see some things I'll add, next time!
Awesome. Have fun!
Wow is all that’s needed from me ! ⚒️
Stunning workbench. Great job ❤
Thanks so much!
Love your work and your garage doors
Nice job. Good luck with your ankle, and Happy Hanukkah! :)
You have an incredible talent, awesome compilation vid.
Glad you liked it ☺️
5:39, I hear that!!! Still loving all your video's, Tamar!!! Keep'em coming:)
Just found this channel and it's awesome! I like how this workbench has that big shelf above the drawers. It's like a whole other workbench where you can put stuff that would normally clutter the actual workbench. Perfect place to temporarily put down all those big awkward things like clamps or big squares etc that are too big to put down anywhere else and just end up getting in the way. I like the hand-crank on the clamp too. Why has no one thought of that before? 😄👍👍
So glad you like it! That shelf came is super handy in my last project where the table covered the entire bench 👍
Woodworking shop level infinity. Every tool known to man with a vac on it. Outstanding skills and ability. You're a master of your craft. Definitely among some of the most skilled woodworkers I've ever seen.
Magnifique, bravo
GREAT job ! a piece of art and SO functional . I would be afraid to use it , the first ding or spill !!!!! . may be you should put it in the living room for a while . first time I ever saw a sit down drill press . you have come such a long way from your unheated garage and inexpensive tools , but you worked hard for what you have now and you deserve it . Happy holidays and thanks for your great videos .
Thanks! Haha, the sit down drill press is just because I didn’t build a stand for it yet 🤣
That turned out amazing.
Thanks!
Very nice job. Not having voiceover worked for me.
Another thing you could add is labels for days... day 1, day 2 etc so we have a feel for how long it's taking.
Well that wouldn’t work for this build bc I did it out of order… you may notice I have a brace on my ankle in some footage. I sprained my ankle mid build… so this took longer than expected and I had to switch up my tasks based on what I could handle each day
Outstanding job.
Thanks so much!
Complimenti sei bravissima e anche bellissima ❤davvero super
I finished my oak/maple/cherry Roubo workbench shortly after you did yours. I am so proud and happy it inspired me to make even more projects. Latest a walnut/oak table, top connected to base with dovetails. Do you ever get burnt out after doing so many you tube videos?
I have to learn a lot from you, my sister... Greetings from Indonesia 🙏🙏
that's quite the shop upgrade looks nice and a very nice bench
Thanks 👍
And thanks for not making the sound of the power tools too loud. Some people don't do that, blasts me in the headphones while I am watching on the toilet. Ouch.
🤣🤣
OMG man😂😂😂😂
beautiful workbench
Thank you very much!
Looks awesome! Wish I could do that.
Glad your ankle has healed.
You look happy after finishing it - I guess it is both because you finished it and because you now have it!
I don't know you, but I'm proud of you all the same. You Go!!
Those pop up stops at 23:33 are pure genius !
So fun!
Outstanding!
You've done a great work
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous work
Thank you!
@@3x3CustomTamar Merry Christmas
Now that I'm watching the build again in the compilation, I remember that most of the Drawer Push-to-open cartridges are filled with oil to act also as a damper when you close the drawer. In all the cases where I used cartridges like these they tend to leak after a couple of years. It would be sad if that oil is leaking out and penetrating into the Benchtop.
Something I’ll have to keep an eye on I guess.
@@3x3CustomTamar oh, one more thing I've forgotten to mention. Since the mounting direction is vertical with the opening to the bottom, the chances of leaking are increased. The manufacturer has probably not intended to use the cartridge in this mounting orientation.
