This is much the same way that I have learned to do it as well. A couple of tips for people that have trouble with getting the tape on the vane, is to hold it between 2 fetching clamps. this holds the vane flat and straight. Because I use 70mm vnes, I also place it in a clamp to align it to the marks on the arrow shaft as well. Good video, and good to see that other people process is similar to mine.
Nice video! Two questions: 1.) Did you use a right helical clamp to mark your shafts or a straight clamp? 2.) When you used the black tape to tighten the vanes down, did you go in the same direction of the spin or opposite?
