I don’t think Argosax is stronger than Mundus. Remember he fought him after sealing away the underworld. Meaning his powers were mostly gone. But he was still capable of killing him, unlike with Mundus who potentially isn’t capable of dying. Even after being sealed in the first game he still sends demons to go after Dante.
radafus link you did read the part when I said that Sparda killed Argosax even when he sealed most of all his powers away right? And did you forget that Dante defeated Mundus with Sparda’s power? And again, Argosax was KILLED. Meaning he Sparda killed him, when Sparda was weakened. If Sparda was at full power then he wouldn’t have needed help at all.

You can play as Sparda in DMC 1 on PS2. It was an outfit that you unlocked. You started with Yamato and 3 symbols of devil trigger. Your devil trigger forms for all your weapons was turning into Sparda. Plus, your shadow while non-devil trigger form was Sparda's shape. Essentially you played a toned down version of Sparda. I get what you're saying though that they should make a game where Sparda is amped up as he is in lore and you fight the legions of the underworld. That'd be amazing.
It doesn't make sense for Sparda to be the villain..Remember he woke up to justice and sealed the demon world..He even help the humans to fight against Argosax..So I wouldn't really see him as a villain

This series really has potential, and it is similar to that of MGS: twin sons, one legendary father, Nero (Raiden), though I'm not sure if this is just a twist up copy, all the Dmc series needs is a few tweaks in the story and some consistency, then it would be a game with a storyline and good gameplay.

exactly, but its not that Vergil needed to recover. His soul was defeated and without a place in hell to go to after Mundus' defeat, he was put in purgatory until Nero went through the "initiation" ceremony like the old antagonist did in DMC4 and soon was called into nero's body possessing his arm. But when his arm changed and he couldnt change it back, people within the order tried to help but nothing went their way so they put a cast on it till further notice. Does this make sense?

You have the history from Devil May Cry in DmC (Devil May Cry 5)... but it aint like the original Devil May Cry, i won't spoil it, but i will say 1 thing... In Devil May Cry anime, Dante and Vergil have white hair as childs, but in DmC, only Vergil has white hair as a child, Dante has black hair, but in the end of the game, Dante gots some white highlights...

that's an amazing idea.
This series really has potential, and it is similar to that of MGS: twin sons, one legendary father, Nero (Raiden), though I'm not sure if this is just a twist up copy, all the Dmc series needs is a few tweaks in the story and some consistency, then it would be a game with a storyline and good gameplay.
for Vergil THAT is what I assuming for him and the three will find themselves fighting against hordes of demon that slip-up on the hellgate and VERGIL is the boss
Nero will act for his own and Dante will be the lead for DMC6

I've got an Idea Devil may cry 6-The legend return's Sparda returns as the game's antagonist with intention of conquering both human and demon world's because of this Dante return's to the human world (after DMC2 ending) and has no Idea WTF is going on.
Actually, it HAS been confirmed by capcom that Nero is, in fact, Vergil's son.Though if his mother is human or demon, nobody really knows.

exactly, but its not that Vergil needed to recover. His soul was defeated and without a place in hell to go to after Mundus' defeat, he was put in purgatory until Nero went through the "initiation" ceremony like the old antagonist did in DMC4 and soon was called into nero's body possessing his arm. But when his arm changed and he couldnt change it back, people within the order tried to help but nothing went their way so they put a cast on it till further notice. Does this make sense?

Or devil may cry 5 with Vergil and Dante as teenagers but more focus on vergil and could also give us a little explanation about how he gets a kid (Nero)...Dante also says in dmc3 'its been a whole year since we last meet' the game could end at that point :)

You have the history from Devil May Cry in DmC (Devil May Cry 5)... but it aint like the original Devil May Cry, i won't spoil it, but i will say 1 thing... In Devil May Cry anime, Dante and Vergil have white hair as childs, but in DmC, only Vergil has white hair as a child, Dante has black hair, but in the end of the game, Dante gots some white highlights...
Now i get why Dante/Vergil Have a Devil and Human form. His father is a devil...And his mother is a Human.

yeah, well in DMC 3 Vergil gets possesed by Mundus and becomes Nelo Angelo in DMC1 where he subsequently dies, i think Capcom just made Nero so nostalgic to fuck with our brains and make up fan theories. But heck that's a great way to captivate an auidence :3
