Unfortunately my error is related with the machine not sending proper voltage to the unit water valve. Getting only 6.8 volts at the valve. Auger motor isn’t running either. Believe wiring harness issue somewhere
Problem was located in the top right connector above the door next to the hinge. The large connector came loose, installed a zip tie cross ways to hold tight and it works great now
I noticed the part only includes the manifold and tube but it appears to be connected to the white housing that is screwed to the fridge. Can you show how to install the manifold to the white housing or is it a simple pull to remove and replace?
@@PartsDr look at the video where the manifold is attached to the white case that screws to the fridge, the manifold part only has the grey part without the white plastic that has the screw to the fridge. Does that make sense?
Thanks a lot for such an informative video! The video shows the new manifold along with the white exterior where the screw fits. The image on the website, does not seem to have it neither on the official GE parts website. Is there an easy way to remove the while exterior from older manifold and fit it into a newer manifold? Thanks in advance!
Thanks a lot for your comment. I was worried the plastic cover might break off. The removal of plastic sides took the maximum time of the repair for me. It came off eventually, and now the repair is completed.
Can you guys tell me which side is input and which one is output? I'm going to use a dumb xwf head in between my lines, so I can use cheap xwf filters for my evil ge fridge. I mean "genuine parts detecting" fridge.

Excellent instructions! I changed my manifold in about 10 minutes. Thanks for fast shipping on the part, as well!
Nice job fixing it yourself! What failed on your original filter manifold?
@@PartsDr Well I broke it thru user error. I forgot how to remove the filter and twisted it! Was glad to find it was an easy fix!
Legit just did a diagnostic to replace one of these last week. Have yet to install this type and you guys dropped this 5 days ago, you’re the bomb🔥
Perfect! Great timing!

@@blakedidlot660 That sounds like a tricky one to troubleshoot. We would suspect either bad wiring in the door or a bad control board.

We show in the video how the part is removed and installed. So we are not sure exactly what you are asking.

@@donaldinc Yes, we see what you are referring to now. It looks like they snap together since there are no screws. Let us know what you find.
But how do you remove the white plastic part from the old manifold in order ro use the new one?
It just snaps in place, I used a small flat blade to slide it off

It looks like the plastic sides of the white piece should bend to remove it. Let us know what you find.

Awesome ...easy video again!! thank you!!
You're welcome!!!
great video.
Does anyone know if the 'leak detected' message is caused by anything besides the stupid RFID filters?
Maybe a bad RFID board? th-cam.com/video/z_Ie23j1T50/w-d-xo.html

We don't know off hand which side is In and which is Out. Please let us know what you find.
