Great review! Thank you. I have Both the EW200's and the 500 LM's and they are both fantastic. I am always surprised how good the 200's sound when I listen to them. That being said I agree with your review100%.
I'm a fan of Dekoni Tips. They're memory foam and make for a perfect seal. As for the cable you can really take your pick of any 2 pin cable, but I like a simple Tripowin cable. They're made well and drape beautifully.
Gorgeous. I'm curious if the beauty of these recent IEMs you've been reviewing is helping you enjoy the more? Or at least endear you to them, just a little bit? Great review!
There are no stupid questions! They are very different listening experiences, very different technologies, and definitely very different price to entry. Both edge towards a neutral and natural sound signature in general, but the HD660S2 offers a more refined, textured, and resolving experiences overall. Also, nothing beats HD600 series vocal timbre.
@bestcocbaseswithlink5069 hmm. The HD660S2 is a high impedance 300 ohm headphone. I don't think your phone alone will be quite enough. If you got a portable amp or amp dongle that would help a lot. Something like a ifi Hip Dac would do very well.
@residentzerointeresting, i dont really care about soundstage, so are you telling me that ea500lm is a better sounding audio product than 650? which iem/headphone do you think is even better than ea500lm ?
I’ve got the 200, and have been eyeing the basic version of these (500) up for a while, and now after these LM’s being released, well really the question is, if someone already owns the 200, is it worth upgrading to these new LM500’s? Will you feel there is a definite jump in performance? I ask because as you inferred, the 200’s are unusually good even for their price.
Well, like I said, they are not going to give you twice the performance at twice the price, but they are a definite improvement. At $89, they are still a great value to performance.
I have the EM6l's and they sound fantastic, I would say to my ears they are a little bit warmer sounding and need a bit more power to drive. I am a big Simgot fan!
Yup. If you can replace the wire then a damaged wire doesn't mean you have to toss away the entire headphone. It also means you can buy different styles of wires, both for asthetics and function.
Some people like stiffer cables, some like softer. Some like thicker cables, some like thinner. Also, some people may want to combine different colors to look more stylish. You can also replace the cable with one with a microphone so you can also use it to communicate. Of course, the most important one is to be able to replace it when the cable is damaged. The earpieces are the most important part and no one would want to replace the whole unit only for a cable if they work fine. So, there are many reasons to have a detachable cable.
LM stands for Lithium Magnesium (and not limited). Just a correction
I'll take my eggs on my face, please. Ugh. Thanks for catching that.
Having the EW200 at hand made your review so much comprehensive. The curve of both is very similar. Thanks

Amazing review. Great job. Nice descriptions/examples.
Please suggest me some cable & eartips for this iem. I usually listen various genres of music, rock mostly.

Great review! Just watched your hd 660s2 review as well. I know I'm asking a stupid question but how does ea500lm compare to 660s2?

@@MasterMarslander Thanks :) . Also, I'm a low volume listener, can the 660s2 be driven from my smartphone which has a headphone jack with hifi dac ?

How do you think this compares to the EM6L?
Haven't heard them yet, but I might be getting a pair soon.

Just spotted the EA500 for the equivalent of USD$58.50.
Should I press the “order” button? 🎧
Or the LM at $73?
Where?
@@RocketLauncherwithInfiniteAmmo just ordered the LM on Lazada.
What will you recommend for good bass without compromising quality sound. Ea500lm, aria 2, kz zar or 7hz legato ?
@@SiddharthVyas you thinking big crazy mid bass, or deep impactful sub bass?
What is the exact use of having the wire being detachable? Is it just in case the wire gets ruined, and you can get a replacement easily?

Actually i asked you the wrong question 😂😂 Actually I was about to ask kefine delci or ea500lm?
Define "This"
Ah, got it. I can't say, haven't heard the Kefine. They look promising though!
