    That driveway is way beyond a sealcoat it’s actually almost past recapping and needing to be removed and replaced.

    Do a video on cleaning the pump out after spraying or sealing

    Is the labor associated with prepping the driveway factored in? Or is it a separate item altogether? .20-.25/sq ft is not enough to do a driveway if it takes a good amount of hours. I’d love to hear your thoughts

      I have different rates per square foot that I charge depending on how much prep work there is. And one thing I have learned over the years is don't be afraid to charge enough. Don't work your butt off for nothing. I've seen dozens of people leave the industry because they were only charging enough for beer money. You are an asphalt specialist. Charge accordingly.

      What would you charge for minimum on small driveways like mobile home driveways?

    00:06 The driveway shown in this video looks like it would cost the homeowner a fortune in crack sealing, hole patching and perhaps multiple coats of sealer. I don't think it would be a stretch to suggest that this homeowner consider getting his/her driveway repaved instead of seal coated. The driveway looks very dry and neglected.

    will you do a super steep drive way? are you afraid of making it slick

    • @11co5955
      @11co5955 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steep driveways need additional sand mixed into the sealer to provide traction. If the sealer is mixed properly, there will be no slippery issues to worry about.

      "Not all money is good money".....I doubled and quadrupled up on sand on this 1 driveway and it was still slippery and I mixed the batch of sealer to specification. Some driveways you should just pass on along with driveways that are to cracked/alligatored, steep driveways I pass on. I don't even get out my truck to look they are not worth the headache.

      @@804video5 you put sand in the mix and it was slippery lol maybe it was oil you put in there cause I don’t know why Sandwood make something slippery. I’ve never heard of that guess you didn’t put enough

    Have you ever heard of a seal coating going on crushed rock before the asphalt is laid on?
