Wait, the LG G5 no longer has a white subpixel? So many questions! 1. LG G5 and Panasonic Z95B have same panel? 2. Without white sub pixel, color volume due to color brightness would be great! How does it compare with quantum dot? 3. What does the sub pixel layout look like? 4. Based on sub-pixel layout, this panel might be ready for productivity monitors! (text clarity issue solved?) 5. If this panel is eventually gonna make it to monitors, how can we request LG to have a proper glossy option?
1. Apparently it does still have the white subpixel. But the MLA Layer is gone (expensive to manufacture) and instead has 2 blue layers. 2. The colour volume should be around 80%, still not at QD-OLED levels, but closing in and looking good (as apparent it is in this and other videos). 3. Same (will be confirmed when reviews come, but there is no info surrounding this) 4.
