Both this song and Naiwen are excellent in this Music Video. I didn't know Yang can act so well! She should do more movies. She draws you in with her style, voice, emotion, and intensity. Stay Steely, Naiwen! Fabulous!

And Chaplin was famous from the age of our grandmoms. But we are Taiwanese so we don't know about China. And this song's lyrics writer is a outer-provence whose father (馬景賢，筆名知愚) was an author of children's stories, so he sees Chaplin more than local Taiwanese young boys/girls. And Chaplin is long time ago, I think you could be partially correct, plus the barrieres between human species and languages, geographical distance, travel experiences. I think it's basically hard for us to understand the speech in Great Dictator. Because Chinese don't have the western political knowledge background, but I do because I went for a course to enter the Government. And the line between Taiwanese and Chinese is obscure, it's a scrambled eggs. I can now imaging Chaplin's famous lines might exist among Taiwan's artists and intellectuelles circle. Actually I just asked google and the lines are there. And Chaplin is free on TH-cam now and I think TH-cam has done a wonderful job to free and liberate the world.
