Gaijin is using a different penetration calculator to determine penetration in the game. If gaijin used an irl pen, some shells (DM53, etc-125) would pen 900mm+ at 2km.
A penetration calculator and sources for this tank both state about 800mm of pen, and supposedly the turret armour should be weaker than it is, but gaijin does gaijin soo.. not to mention its yet to be fully released, I wouldn't be suprised if they buff to 800m pen, leave the armour how it is and leave it at 10.0, let it sit and be sold for a bit then nerf or uptier it lol.
I'm quite interested where did they get that penetration is 700mm. It should be around 1000+-, isn't it?

No gun besides rail guns have gotten past 880mm you are looking at the early or mid 2030s when rounds will start penetrating over 1000mm.

His apfsds can pen upper plate of 2a7 but cant pen strv 122 plus? I thought they had the same armor package :/
