Got to try this out. The revamped colourzones put me off until I saw what you achieved. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Gracias, me encantan tus vídeos 💖 desde que no tengo Photoshop y Lightroom había dejado de hacer fotografías, pero has demostrado que se pueden lograr buenos resultados incluso sin esos programas.

nice.. but i guess you shouldn't have used the local contrast and sharpening for your portrait.. it kinda gives that gimmicky look to the subject.

How often would you say that you use the filmic workflow?

Some of the modules in darktable would not recommended to use they wil be re written or removed in future updates. Personally I am playing with darktable more than 6 months I would prefer more simplified interface every extra module extra slider time consuming. The software has great IU and some advanced features better than Lightroom an Captureone. The problem is too complex and has 77 different modules who needs more than 10 even 5-6 is enough for well exposed image. Anyway Thank you to Devolopers for providing us this free and great software.

@@CLEARMINDS-ty8fn well if you look from light room point of view dark table may look different. But trust me dark table is much easier than you think.

@@CLEARMINDS-ty8fn you can hide away all the ones you don’t use and mark as favorite the ones that you use the most... I rather have a bunch of modules that I will only use once than not having them at all and need them that one time.

hi great piece of editing.... one query... why do you always change "preserve colours" to "none"?

Bro, I might got it wrong but I remember it's written in the manual that you should get the contrast only from tone eg. Other than that I can't see the module you used to tone map. Was it filmic or Sigmoid? Base curve isn't recommended with tone EQ. But still, a very good shot, TTL exposed, and the result is appealing. But I truly wonder how would il look if you have used more the color calibration module in exchange with just a little touch of color zones. The latest works kind of HSV in Lightroom, which is known to introduce far lots of color bandings if used excessively, than the calibration tool in Lightroom. Wonder if it's the same thing here. Didn't benchmarked it 😊.

not really useful if you don't explain what you're doing. As someone who has no familiarity with the software it's just impossible to follow and understand.

I understand. There are a ton of beginner videos available on TH-cam. Most of my videos are for users who know the basics of DarkTable. I want to keep my videos shorter. but also showing the capability of software. My English-speaking skills are not good enough, which is another reason why I don't use my voice.
