I have a similar setup running 4s 850 with a lighter motor and 4045 bi props. I also have a mini ar, both fly in their unique way. The dart likes the speed and has more range. The 850 size batteries are not the maximum size for these but is for my cygnet 3", and really works out well whenever I have a hard time finding areas to launch planes. Got to have a backup plan for dem charged batts!
Have to make a custom OSD font, its just a 72x72 and 3 colors PNG image (black/white/grey for transparent). INAV configurator cannot upload only the logo the way BF does.
I can build you an OSD font with a custom logo if you want, require special stuff, INAV fonts are "watermarked". Logo must be same 3 colors and size as : github.com/iNavFlight/inav-configurator/blob/master/resources/osd/vision/257_280.png Then drop it to me by email at : olivierc600@gmail.com

Hi! IT's hard to tell, I've made only few flight with the Dart 250, but I love my AR mini, I think that the most fun plane I've ever flown FPV. And its very tough, I'm not so sure the Dart 250 will last as long, the foam is more brittle

no problem on 4S, so on 3S I think there's zero risk of motor overload, even if you keep it 100% throttle for the whole flight. 24A max with 4S, i proably like about 16A with 3S, top ?
@@Olivier-C Is that in flight or static? I haven't flown it with this motor yet but full throttle with the 4x5.3x3 prop while holding it in my hand got up to 23A. I only tried it for a second, though. I'm sure in flight it will be a lot less.
@@avsaase 24A airborne with the gemfan 4x5.3x3, and about the same with a 5" bi-blade cyclone 5050. Be carefull with ground tests, I killed such a 1606, but that was with 5S :)
@@Olivier-C Just flew it with the three-bladed prop and even on 3S I think it is quite a rocket. Max current was about 18A in flight giving me a speed of 147km/h in horizontal flight. Consumption is ~60% higher compared to the stock setup but I'm gonna try the 5x5 prop and set some throttle expo to see if I can get the cruise current back to 2A.

How is the motor holding up with these props? I have the same motor and props but on 3S and I wonder if I should go easy on the throttle.

all i know is this looked awesome.
we were lucky, perfect altitude perfect time, right were and when the clouds touched the slopes
Have you tried auto tune?
not using autotune, the feature is near useless. Even more so for a small plane
