In Soledar not coal, but salt was mined. The name of the town in Ukrainian consists of two words "salt" and "gift". After the loss of Soledar, we really had problems with the supply of cheap salt.
Greetings from Ukraine and thanks for the support) If anything, I advise the map of military operations "DeepState map". It is the most accurate of all maps that exist. Even all foreigners use it)
I think Americans should have an interest in what is going on in Ukraine. If we don't then we run the risk of losing allies like Ukraine or the Baltic states to Russian aggression. If we don't stand up to bullies then all we are doing is appeasing them. Appeasement never works.
USA was one of the countries who guaranteed peace Ukraine according to Budapest memorandum. USA made Ukraine give its nuclear weapon in exchange of these guarantees
@@АннаХайдарова-п4нso you are correct the USA, Russia, and UK promised security guarantees in the case of an existential threat. The US couldn't have forced Ukraine to give up their nukes. Ukraine made the decision to denuclearize. Interestingly the translation on the memorandum of guarantees translated into Russian, and Ukrainian as assurances. The important thing though is we are trying to help now. I definitely think the US should and could do more and it's shameful how slow we are with aid. But other people may have other opinions on that aspect.

What interest do Americans have in the ongoing events in Ukraine?
