The pain in the arse spring clamps from the coolant system are there for a reason.
They can expand as the hoses expand during running as per design, then contract as the system cools.
Yes they are a pain to remove, as you know. The clamps you have bought will do the job, however they wont expand as needed and leads to burst hoses. They will leak if not over torqued, which leads to people over torquing them, hence the Battle of the bulging hoses.
I learnt that the hard way.
    My 2 bobs worth.
Love the channel. Can't wait to see this little gem rolling down the road. Pretty bullet proof. Had one as a work vehicle and flogged it, no complaints.

@@hoodzzeee Yeah, you’re right about the factory clamps, expansion, etc. I actually have an assortment of new spring clamps but decided to use the jubilee clamps as they’re easier to undo and tighten up if there’s ever a hose problem out on the road. But I’m not happy with those new jubilee clamps so when I replace the hoses later on I’ll be using new spring clamps.

That car used to share thr garage with a five metre long amethystine python without drama, but cockies!
    Guard your wiper rubbers.

@@KimandLuellaTyler The little red nugget has two brand new complete Triton wiper blades and arm assemblies. They work really well and the “rubbers” are actually silicone so the cockies might break their teeth on those (do cockroaches have teeth??)…
