I didn't realize her voice was that strong! I'm very picky about Selena covers.She definitely did the song justice in my opinion. The only thing that could have made it better would be better pronunciation... but obviously Spanish isn't a language she speaks so the pronunciation was understandable.
I agree! She did a great job. In an interview she did mention that she learned the song phonetically, which is the same way that I learned all of Selena’s songs. Also Selena learned most of her Spanish hits phonetically as well. It’s all coming full circle 😅

Even in some of her songs you can pick up her Tejano accent. She often commented about her Spanish not being great when interviewed, but she always tried her best and in some of those interviews I remember when she couldn't come up with the right words in Spanish she would switch to English. The interviewer and her always got a kick out of it. She was a very genuine human being. I guess her humble personality, hot body and her talent made her so likeable.
