4:12 could someone explain to me, how on earth is a saloon style opening more practical than a hatchback where the glass also opens????

4:15 Since when opening the boot as a saloon, rather as a hatch, gives more practicality ?

I know, the review was going well up to this point. Why would you want this over a large hatch?

Hey guys! Looks like a double quoted the boot size, the first 510litres is the correct amount. Sorry about this ☺️ hope you enjoy!

It's called a boot and it's a proper saloon :) Well done Citroen.
Such a pity it was not 570 litres do it would have been able to rival skodas Octavia for boot space and Taxi drivers would love it. It's still not bad at 510 litres do.

Such a classy car. Great to see a company still doing saloons. Hope it's a huge success for them.

Looks good, and the boot sounds massive, however would have been way more practical to have made it a hatch opening rather than a saloon.

I think it looks great. However, it's starting to look expensive if they price this car the same as cars which have 60kw+ batteries.

Very astute commentary, thank you. I love my Citroen eC4 but I wish it had electric seat adjustments programmable for two different users and the electric boot would be great. Not having a flat floor in the rear is annoying. And road dirt clings terribly to the INSIDE of the plastic door bottom panels. Commentators usually forget to mention the dashcam built into the rear view mirror. And I think the air intakes close while one is spraying the front windscreen with alcohol windscreen cleaner. You can forgive everything because of the comfort ride.

So it looks like a hatch but without the practicality of a hatch? Small boot opening and space robbing old fashioned boot lid hinges too. Like the alcantara seats though. Personally I'd buy the smaller car as I don't see this offers anything better.

The interior looks lovely. Probably not the greatest drivers car, but for transporting the parents around, this could be just the job 👍😁

I think Citroën should do a C4X with dual motors and AWD. That would be nice to see.

  • @elanthys
    @elanthys 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The C4X looks alright but I’ll keep my regular C4 thanks! Yeah I have less volume, but the hatchback is more practical than a trad boot. That said I wouldn’t mind taking the C4X for a spin, especially an electric, as I have yet to try this!

  • @samwinstanley6820

  • @michaelhead2655

Still hasn't got a rear windscreen wiper . Should have left boot opening as per hatchback it would give access to all the boot space.

Shame it didn’t come with a bigger battery. Personally I would prefer a C4 ,j use the range falls a bit short on what I’d be comfortable with

Those boot hinge bars look like they're going to prevent you being able to close it properly if you fully fill the boot.

You can't even charge at home with your home charge point now until after 12am! Plug in car grant scrapped too! Ora Cat, a company that sells EVs for equivalent £15000 in China decide to launch that exact car here in the UK for £32000. Seriously what the f#ck is going on?

It's funny the number of reviewers who complain about flip-up HUDs. I mean sure, they're not as good as the best HUDs, but they are still way better than having no HUD at all. It's just an affordable option. So what's the actual complaint? They all flip up pretty silently.

  • @carlosorff

It has a 570l of boot with no way to load things in. I thought it has the fifth door Oh and look it has a radio. Why is everyone so astonished by a tablet aka infotainment system in a car in 2022? Is that even worth mentioning. That should be a standard feature as well as the USB ports. Do not get me wrong I do not hate Citroen, but they should make a bit more effort. I would rather have a DS7 2023 with less chrome if I had to choose from a car Citroen.

Nice car but, . . . again the next in an endless line of large expansive SUV's, saloons and sedans.
I wonder why they stop building large heavy 4 to 6 person EV's.
And start building the less heavy, small economical 2-door cars.
95% of the time there is 1 person in cars anyway. And most of these "massive boots" are empty.
People ride around in cars that are way to large and heavy all year round, just for that 1 time they ever could transport a set X.

Be lucky if like the e C4 you can get 157miles from this power pack and let's be truthful here its not 50kw useable it about 44kw so it pretty poor.
