Vs the mage matchup I definitely recommend resto pot to counter sheep or getting spider belt / ornate mithril boots for a second nova dispel With fap pots you REALLY gotta be ready to pummel the sheep because that is their only win condition
Nice video, idk what some people are complaining about, always like seeing pvp videos with explanations. This video makes me consider rolling a mage. Also, as a hunter, I think i'll keep my pet dismissed so warriors can't just charge me and taunt it to break cc.
I will put charge/inercept on the same action slot. Since you have different bars for different stances, I would recommend putting similar spells on the same action bar slot for all stances. For example, shield bash and pummel are both R for me.
im having such a hard time deciding between mage or warrior, i know all that mage has to offer, and while i love DPS warrior i dont mind tanking a bit aswell. Could someone help me out?
8:44 this is how 99% fights will go vs good mages will end. You will never get charge off because they will CS you to get you in combat, and you will never be able to damage them even if you pop FAP, because they can just run away from you until it runs out or sheep you. the ONLY way to beat good mages is to be lucky and get a hamstring proc when you intercept them.
Nice gank session, didn't expect a solo warrior to perform so well. Even tho I'm pretty sure most of them were on the pre raid bis gear at best, the reason for them to be in kargath.
Thanks man. Like I said in the video, most of their gear appears to be crappy, even though it may be tier 2. The patch I was on had the super old t2 models. But yes, most of them were under geared. People still go to kargath regardless of gear. There is a phenomenal elemental earth farming spot pretty close to the horde flightpath, as well as a ton of other good farming locations.
Bro do you even know about the warrior struggle when you charge and stop 5 feet away so you have to intercept or blow some other cooldown to get close.. I remember charging someone mounted and tried to rend only to get "out of range" error.. Lucky i had piercing howl but still I remember having a charge and hamstring macro only to find after charging a mounted player they skate off amd my hamstring was out of range.. QQ
enrage procs off of a critical strike you receive. if you sit it makes you suffer a critical strike automatically. so if you sit you will get the buff the next time you are attacked 100%. hope this helps
what class do you enjoy the most for pve/pvp and what class do you find the most capable of 1v1/1vX? havent played classic sins retail was live and i stopped playing wow during WoD after getting tired of the changes that kept distancing wow more and more from what it once were. looking forward to retail classic coming back and will prob go back to playing again but i have verry little memory of the old days left and what class to go for. Used to play priest and rogue from classic until wotlk when i switched to warrior.
I love warrior for pvp and pve. The best 1v1 class/1vx and mage and rogue. All depends on what you want to play. Meele or caster, stealth or not stealth, etc. It depends on your playstyle
I've seen some very geared and awesome spriests, but they very very rare to see. Its like literally 1 per guild. If you like healing, and join a guild as a healing priest, then you might have a shot at getting some SP loot later on. I wouldnt have the mindset of leveling to 60 and then strait into shadow priest pvp. They need gear and time. For classes its pretty much just all rogues, warriors, and mages.

Entertaining gameplay, vanilla swordspecced warriors are always beautiful. However, I notice that in a lot of your fights you’re missing Battle Shout. Viewers like to see big numbers, whether they’re watching for your skills or not. If you don’t have bs up, just hit a mob and apply it, it can make or break a lot of fights! Awesome series of clips overall, keep them coming!

It's almost impossible to do that on this server. Charge/intercept is so bugged on Light's Hope. When you charge a target, you're supposed to charge directly to them, putting your character right at their feet. On Light's Hope, when you charge, as you can see in this video, it puts you where the target was when you pressed the ability. Instead of putting you where the target should be, if that makes any sense. Also, with the massive amount of latency that I have, even if i charge a target, and I'm on top of them, it will still say im out of range for hamstring. Basically my only option is to piercing howl right after charge.
The USA is on the other side of the planet compared to the server location. Read the answer again. + Then u have all the cookie cutter Chinese mage + rogue copies of other copies and they have a decent ping depending on how they manage to escape the stranglehold of the supreme leader, and those classes have an edge vs war since the war doesn't have a healer and is alone. With consideration of terrain, respawn times etc. it's still possible to terrorize the other faction. This kind of pvp was never seen again after Vanilla.
It was impossible for a long time on retail servers as well. Jumping charges was a thing until late wotlk when Blizzard made more changes. (root the target when charge is initiated)
What you should try is to charge enemies when they come towards you. That way you can spam hamstring while you travel towards them. Even if you charge through them, you will be for a fraction of second at their location while you move past them and land 2 meters behind. That way you will have applied hamstring on your traveling route. Naturally that doenst help if you chase somebody and end up charging and still not connecting. Good example is the charge at 0:50 against the rogue. You were in front of him and he was traveling past you, there you couldve applied hamstring easily. When you stop the video at 0:55 or 0:56 and go frame by frame you can see that your hamstring went from red "out of range" to white "in range" while you were traveling past him.

My point is that the guy who made the video had an objective advantage in that he started with more health, got the charge, and his health potion crit(and he parried the other guys mortal strike which is huge) and says he is the better player when he was literally saved by luck. If potion didnt crit, he dies. If mortal strike wasnt parried, he dies. If the other warrior opened, he dies. If the other warrior started with more health, he dies. Get it?
Not going to lie watching this makes me want to play WoW classic again. Watched about 6 mins, nice little run in Kargath there. I mained a warrior on another private server (Feenix - Al'Akir) and pvp'd R14 + Raid gear. Maby I'll get the official WoW classic after they release it. Pantheon: Rise of the fallen is kind of strong contender in the upcomming MMO scene though I think, atleast it'll be new...

The old way as a rogue was sprint from stealth,cheapshot,hemo,hemo,rupture, and run back oout and reastealh and open again. The idiot wars would stay in zerker and by the time dots wore off they were 1/2 hp.. A good rogue will have to bust all cooldowns against average gear warrior if they pop def stance.

What does taunting a pet do when getting scatter shot?
@@Presence_o_Mind Forces the pet to hit you, breaking the freeze trap that usually occurs right after scatter.

It honestly comes down to weather you prefer playing a Ranged class or a Melee class. A lot of huge differences especially with raiding and dungeons.

Of course. Only problems can be, mages, spriests and good hunters mainly. Warriors are still beasts though.
