    You have to undo the rear nut first by pulling out the fuel tank, then under seat undo the nut then you can take rear shock out

      Yes that’s correct if the shock is stuck in the buffer rubber. But if you’re lucky like in my case you can undo it just by twisting the shock. This has always worked for me.

    What's the length of the extension nut? Also, does the rear YSS shock have 9mm or 10mm holes? -I read online that they have 9mm, but the latest PX models have a 10mm bolt. As you don't have the step of mounting it to the engine in the video; did it fit?

      Hello.
      The extension is 48 mm if I remember correctly.
      The shock did fit without any modifications.

    Hello, where can you buy the spacer nut for the back? And also...does it feel it safe to you? It looks a bit scary from a first sight.

      Hello. That’s hard to say but you can check that the rubber buffer is in good condition and is properly mounted.
      Is the bolt that holds the shock in the engine tight and the rubber in the engine in good condition?
      Other than those things I would think it’s something with the new shock.

    what size front and back shock absorbers did you use?

    • @Nordicexplorer1
      @Nordicexplorer1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it was 255 front and 340 rear with 48 mm distance nut/spacer.

      No silent block in the rear shock?
      Thank you mate

    • @Nordicexplorer1
      @Nordicexplorer1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Txef do you by silent block mean the rubber buffer that sits between fender and the shock?
      The rubber buffer should be mounted first, then the distance nut and the shock.
      I didn’t show the rubber buffer in the video because it didn’t come off when I removed the old shock.
