I've got one of those trucks with an 8' bed. Somebody put an LT-1 in it at some point, headers, and straight piped out the back. It's got a slight rod knock though. Been a back burner project sitting in the back of our shop for like 5 years now lol. I remember seeing it around before we bought it, it sounded strong. Thank god they shut it down when they first heard it knock

Hell yeah looks like an 84', I have one with the 454 and TH400 with factory HD trans kit and G80 locker... stock quadrajet makes it easy to get rid of tires! Smoking them with a kickdown at 55 is the freakin best 😫👌

He wasn’t sleeping, his dial in was quicker so if you watch the tree left lane goes yellow green then right yellow green a fraction later.

Dismal sedan sales in the 90s but SUV sales were strong T fuels gm design team to reboot GN formula that , strap a turbo on the same old boring v6. The 4 wheel traction gave sub 5 sec 0 to 60 times but the s10 drive train is not meant for pavment or turbos. A few more track days and will join the rest of them in 5he scrap yard. It was a very quick lemon and 4x4 drive train replacement is expensive, once the warenty goes these usually went the salvage yard thats why you rarely see them arround. Fyi makes you sound like an ass fyi.

My 80 model gmc short bed hit 80 mph before it shifted into 3rd gear. I loved that ugly 2 tone pickup. It would eat any 5.0 mustang. I miss the 90's

The title of the video says "super WORK truck"? umm I think that every truck is built and design for work if it has a truck bed in the back then it's for to go out there and get some work done with it.. hmm WORK truck 🤔 then what truck is NOT for work 🤔 even if it's a Lincoln or a Cadillac pick up truck it's still design to go get some work done with it, but with a little more style, but it never stops being a truck.. I love those 70s-80s and some early 90s square body Chevys it's badass truck short bed👌and the 80s Crew cab with a short bed square body Chevy one of mi dream trucks, I own a 1998 Chevy Silverado 2500 ext cab I like the 1988-2000 body style too I know 3/4 ton and 1ton Chevys last year was 2000 for those, good video
