Very cool! Don't loose the mailbag like everyone else did. 😉 Sweet PennCentral boxcar. Loving that Marx NYC Mercury. Liberty Special just in time for the Semiquincentennial. 🇺🇲
Nice haul! For most rust issues, use PB Blaster. It works quite well. If you don't want to spray it all over, you can wet a rag or shop towel with it and apply it to the rusty parts. The Bi-Centennial engine and caboose is a nice little set and the Mercury tender is cool. I like running Marx stuff, now and then. An excellent video, as always.
Great video, I was at Wheaton and remembered seeing the Liberty Special, it was an attractive train. The mail car goes right with it. Thanks for sharing.
I also went to that show. Picked up a few things but was disappointed in the vendor turnout. I go almost each month and there are usually more in the main room.
When goin To a Train Show I’ve Said It A lot Before Goin to a Train Show do Your Homework then The day Of the Show Go Get what your Looking For And Don’t forget STAY TILL Closing.if You Have Anymore Shows Coming Up Hit those Too my Wife And I Go to 2 Shows A Year one Day I May Hit More one Time or another you Can Never get Enough Train shows. I Don’t Know How Many train Shows People go To a year. You can Never Get Enough.
I agree on the car being part of an articulating set but are you sure, those look like tabs and if you catch the under side I believe there is a pin on the back side for the remaining cars….

Great finds! I use "Awsome" cleanser on stubborn grime. I had a milk car that was stained with cigarette tar and "Awesome" got it white again.
Cheers from antioch Illinois

I haven't been to the Wheaton train show in years..
That is no tender, part of an articulated passenger train. look at the windows on the side.
