OMG!!!! I have been trying to find this game for DECADES!!! I use to see this game in an arcade back in North Dakota when I was little and the weapon select and boss enter music stayed in my head all these years but I never knew the name of it.
I have searched and searched and randomly tonight I search 1980s vertical shooter and boom, pops right up. Tonight will be a memorable night for me. This took me back. Thank you. Thank you.🙏🏽
There's an bararcade in colorado springs that has it, you can't shoot nearly as fast as this. I think they had a turbo controller or something

I used to be able to finish this game on 20 cents. Such good value.

I played this a lot when i was young on arcade machine. I considered myself one of best in my town at this. Developed myself to to use one life for whole game (no dead). After i killed the last boss, the game start again from lvl1 but keeps all ship upgrades. Did it 3 times once (1 life 3 runs). I played more than 2 hours for just one coin, hehe :)
Is there another version of this game? I only got 1 playthrough and I was also that good

Very good shooting skills there. Tough break about losing your power during the last battle, but still a impressive display of skill on Sky Soldiers.
if one plane on its own is doing that kind of damage to their airforce, you'd think they'd get the message and surrender.
I suppose it's too late to call in the un...
If you let the two big planes at 12:01 go, four will show up later, giving you more power ups.
I remember several other bosses that did not show up on this video.

I swear that the boss theme in this game and the Double Dragon mission 1 theme sound a bit similar.
the main song has a little similarity with megadeth's hangar 18 main riff, and tthe boss rush song is similar to seek and destroy from metallica.

Still, I don't see 2 players on the screen. So that way, one player doesn't have to work so hard defeating his/her enemies.

On arcade machines i played the same game, but i remember better graphics and music. Is there another version?
I also remember better music, but ive been looking for a long time for that sountrack and from what I've seen this score is closest to the low bass version you probably also remember.

Great game I killed over and over when I was a teen. That second Russian boss smoked me repeatedly though. One hit and your controls are reversed.
