- In this Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy episode review, we're taking a look at the episode, "How To Train Your Scraplet". Boulder has a big surprise for the Rescue Bot Recruits. They each get their very own Scraplet to train. But can you train a Scraplet?

I think what Boulder did is really in character:
If you have seen enough rescue bots episodes you know that Boulder can find interest in dangerous creatures, once doing it with gremlins

But seeing how the scraplets opened their mouths to the recruits they could have been severely dangerous I mean what was boulder thinking he could have got them killed instead he laughed at the end with the others when hotshot got scared I mean it was obvious the poor bot was scared for life. I'm really surprised heatwave didn't look into this boulder seems irresponsible

You should have mentioned that the Title of the episode is a reference to How To Train Your Dragon.
why does "How To Train Your Scraplet" sounds like "How To Train Your Dragon" but you train Scraplets
They use old movie titles all the time. Like Dog Stray afternoon was Dog Day Afternoon. And Fright at the museum was Night at the museum or Little Plot of horrors was Little shop of horrors. There are some more.Plus the use of old storybook fables like Little bot peep. Just putting in a fun reference:)

And did you know that some Vikings also created "The Kievan rus" the first Russia before the Russia!!! That's why I'm have some connection with Vikings,my friend and comrade!!!😉

That was a great and funny episode from prime! Also scary for little ones. Especially if they love Bee like my nephew. Luckily for RAF they don’t hurt humans and would seem like the cutest little pet!

@@MySkinnydip So true but poor hotshot wedge once again bullied him in the end he just treats him like a toy I mean he has feelings he's not someone to laugh at. Some scenes in this series I just felt so sorry for the bot wedge can really be a huge jerk

This video made me wonder when are the rescue recruits going to get minions that will help on solo rescues

Hotshot's: jumpy/ultron design.
Whirl's: giggles/queen design.
Wedge's: snappy/golden design.

RBA was meant to be a short 2 seasons sequel to Rescue Bots
I know it's sad to see it go they rushed the last half of the season like other than the last two episodes everything else the writers looked like they just ran out of stuff to put
Then what about the manga or crossover take place after the season 2 of the Rescue bot academy?? We would able to se recruits being mature???😢

I know I'm two years late on this one but I might as well say it anyway.
while I was skeptical at first about the idea of training Scraplets seeing as how they are....well....maneating death machines, I do recall that in Transformers Prime when Raphel found a Scarplet it was actually fairly tame around him and it not only played games but it even cuddled in his arms and took a nap.
so Scraplets being more than simple death machines does have some precedent, I wonder if this means that the scraplets we have met in that past have been starved by the Decepticons to make them more violent, after all, if they were always that aggressive all the time odds are that they probably would've eaten all of Cybertron long before the great war.

It is kind of a good thing the method of taming and ordering scraplets wasn’t discovered until AFTER the world was over. Could you imagine the decepticons being able use this this?

It is a cute episode but i wonder, have you ever read the Transformers comic: More Than Meet the Eyes: Holiday Special? I pretty sure that there chapter about Whirl "dad" did take care of Scraplet who every bot think it was a Protoform... (a lot of fan though it was a baby Whirl when they read the chapter in the first place...)

Did she really remember her dad as her old male future self and she's the only one that has parent on screen which means that her protoform pod is for some reason teleported to the aligned continuity and maybe Optimus prime found this pod and recruiting her to be Rescue bot recruit when she becoming friend to other recruits and she's the first one to introduce herself to Hotshot and with other recruits so why we wouldn't se other recruits parents???🧐

As a human domesticating scraplets would be a great idea from defending the Earth against rogue Decepticons. Not such a great idea to have Cybertronians training them since they are a food option.

This episode was great but the ending like Why I mean this is one of the few episodes which there endings mess it up. All hotshot was doing was having fun showing off some cool skills and wedge just had to scare him and turn him into a laughing stock. I felt sorry for hotshot everyone including boulder laughed and just when I thought wedge changed. Seriously what makes wedge want to hurt hotshot so much I mean it hurts to see that. Hotshot has helped wedge so much and he's still the same that's sad
I never thought about Wedge changing because they never show
an episode of him changing. But the fact that the teacher didn’t do anything probably is the reason why Wedge never change. Because no adult had discipline him or even punish him. A teacher was there and he didn’t anything. No wonder why Wedge hasn’t change.
@@luvblueybingoheeler3150 I mean I was shocked to see even boulder laughed and the fact that in medix gets schooled when whirl gave hotshot that face frightening him and then making him say the answer perceptor the smartest autobot was playing along. I mean he could clearly see whirl raising hotshot's hand but instead of telling whirl it was a method of bullying he seemed to play along. That's why whirl never stopped and then later even tried hurting hotshot a few times. Like even the teachers are allowing it and It does show kids bullying is ok. I just wish heatwave who's probably smarter did something I mean throughout the series every time a bot goes jerk mode their victim is hotshot even whirl has been mean to him. Why didn't he do anything to stop this like a lot of bots seem to take hotshot's kind spark to their advantage. I feel sorry for hotshot

Also I just wish whirl hugged hotshot in the last two episodes after being such a meanie to him a hug scene would have made up for it I'm really glad she's nice again I mean what got into her

Along with this ending I remember the last time wedge hurt hotshot and tried to get everyone to laugh was back in medix suprise. All they did was have fun setting up a rescue for medix and when hotshot had no boulder whirl and wedge treated him so harsh I mean they were all in it and then they make hotshot suffer for it. And the episode ended with the recruits apologizing to medix when it should have been whirl and wedge apologizing to hotshot. I mean the way they treated him like that was so mean they didn't even help him out after rescuing chuck they just left him there and I felt so sorry for the bot they hurt him so much letting him watch them have fun with the rescue and he was offended and sad Like why does this cartoon support bullying some episodes were upsetting to watch

@@luvblueybingoheeler3150 Yeah when hotshot said he had no boulder and was a little worried she just straight up said in a mean way use what ya got be resourceful I mean even if wedge insulted him whirl still played a part in hurting hotshot she forced him in such a mean way and I felt sorry for hotshot he could have refused but he didn't and then no one helped him after the rescue all the recruits were really mean also that was the first time in the series we saw whirl being a jerk

@@luvblueybingoheeler3150 I know the writer made it look like hotshot was a bot with no feeling I mean it's months since I watched the episode and i'm still upset they didn't even make up for it by at least having wedge go through something like that after all he did find it funny It's sad to say some people found that funny I mean I felt so sorry for hotshot they could have at least have a comfort scene for him but instead medix got the apology but he wasn't even hurt I don't understand why the writer did that at least the animator did a good job showing how sad hotshot was when he was on the gusher while the other bots rescued chuck It has to be the worst scene in the series it's just so sad the lesson of the episode messed up because of that they could have at least have the recruits apologize to hotshot I mean they were in a rush to get chuck out of there but were smiling when they saw poor hotshot stuck and even let him fly off poor hotshot the recruits were so mean

Temperature in dogs are still considered Sanford children’s due to them being known as our little transformers that help in need of help and due to their case of looking like other creatures even extinct and rare case of creatures like dragons they will still be sentient, Which makes crap what a perfect non-sentient companion eat because of their more animalistic behavior
If I was one of the recruits I'd probably name my scraplet Chipper also are these scraplets genetically modified, a special breed or something? Cause their acting odd for scraplets

No offense to rescue bits academy, but scraplets, nearly took out bee, bulkhead and ratchet in tfp episode: scrapheep, and also nearly destroyed the matrix in tfp Orion pax, you would think that they just might be deadly, maybe a bit too deadly for a BUNCH OF TECHNICAL CHILDREN TO TRY TO BE TRAINING THEM, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD ALL GET THEMSELVES KILLED, I’m sorry about that, but I still like prime’s standards.

@@sircharleston2712 killed maybe an overstatement since entire infestation of them wasn’t able Kill with three auto bots after they were exhausted from battle (bumblebee bulkhead and ratchet) and there was only five of them which is significantly less, but they would leave a scratch

In one of the chapter of the Lost Light, Whirl make the scraplet to eat Getaway alive....
