Oh my goodness, the little thatched cottages look like your walking through a fairy tale village. So charming and quaint, very beautiful!! Oh how I would love to live in one!!

I just loved that village! When I was a girl I wished to live in a thatched roof house in the English countryside. Enid Blyton's books are to blame. Nice to see Maggie and Ivy again. I just love those doggies. I hope you enjoy the cava bottle Luke gifted you. It's made quite near to where I live.

Hi, I really enjoyed this vlog it brought back so many memories of when I used to visit Devon about 50 years ago. I would go with my parents and we always went to Cockington it's so pretty and I remember there was a little shop that my mum brought me a bottle of Parma Violet perfume it was such a beautiful smell and I felt very grown up being 9 years old with perfume. So glad you got to visit there Iwan x
I love Parma violets - what a lovely memory! Did you know that Lush make a lovely perfume called ‘Kerbside Violets’?
@@annettescott5884 Hi Annette, I love Parma Violets too its a smell I never get tired of even now at my age I will still buy the sweets now and again. I didn't know that about Lush but I will certainly pay them a visit so thank you for that.

The small snippet of Ice-creams in Devon looked interesting. I have just come back from Musselburgh, there are a couple of Ice-creams shops made famous by the Italians. Such a fantastic range of flavours to choose from.

Heading off to Devon and Cornwall next week. Love Darts Farm amazing stuff not at Poundland prices!! Last time I was in Torquay i thought it was really tatty. Lots of empty shops and lots of rough sleepers. Will be having a cream tea but will do jam first! Great vlog.

Oh Cockington brings back memories but next time I will have a salad instead of the cream tea as my stomach felt like there was a brick in it for the rest of the day but such a lovely place

Those ice-creams looked soooo good, my fav treat!! Cockington is chocolate box pretty, I also had a cream tea in the same little tea garden, Mr.C. You've certainly been busy, out and about.

Devon is stunning, that shop with the fresh produce looked divine, we don't call it a cream tea, I've grown up with it being called a Devonshire Tea and we usually have plain Scones 🇦🇺😁 thanks for sharing 🙋♀️🇦🇺
I live in devon about 40 mins from darts farm and believe it or not I've not been in there. Always drive past it going to Exmouth tho so think I'll be going in there next time.

Use to live just down the road from cockington, beautiful village.. even the train ride you took from torquay towards Exeter is amazing the sea views caught that train once when the waves went over the train at Dawlish.. mad but fun..... nice video MrC .... looking forward to new series..... how did the American one go? was it received well? Will you be going over again? .. x

Lovely houses but I think it would be annoying after a while to have tourists taking pictures and looking over your garden wall why you were trying to garden.
