Can you tell me what this means? I’m a big Beatles fan. Love McCartney. But how music works just eludes me. when you say his chords are recognizable what does that mean? If you ever see this question, I’d love to know.

@@tomandrews2887Paul's playing is reckognisable particularly for his rhythm, all over his discography. The way he mutes and hits the strings, hits the piano, etc. Specially noticeable when he's playing drums or acoustic guitar, there's a McCartney feel. You could say that about lots of musicians as well but I prefer the McCartney sound. Albums like Chaos and Creation and Flaming Pie where he plays almost every instrument, have the McCartney groove all over them !
I love Paul’s current voice so much. It’s not even “conceding” anything or “being nice”, I just love old people’s singing voices a lot. They sound so sweet and warm, in ways that young voices very often are not. Really love the lyrics sung with him, as recently as he did, with THIS voice.
When Paul played Lollapalooza Chicago he did a little bit of "FourFiveSeconds" and then he went imediattly into "We Can Work It Out". I saw him playing the full song in Belo Horizonte last year, but I would love to see that little medley.
A worthy addition to the McCartney catalog of hits and beyond. He picked up a force of nature known as Rihanna and an evangelist named Kanye along the way.
Listen, I'm a Beatles obsessive and lifelong McCartney fan but this is absolutely not better than the original. Rihanna makes the original. It's cringe hearing Paul struggling to sing this.
@@fernandoalejo I'm talking of the version, not the vocal performance, otherwise I'd have said something like "Paul sings this much better". In any case it's still a matter of taste and I respect your opinion. 😉
Paul McCartney and Kanye should do a whole project together. At the very least, an EP's worth of bangers. Both of them are absolute geniuses, and have distinct styles, and the amalgamation of those 2 distinctive styles put together is just musical bliss. Please, oh please, get the two of them back in the studio together. It would be one of the biggest projects ever conceived! Do it, 'Ye and Sir Paul! Yall have great chemistry together, and I hope you both recognize that! Legends and Icons!
Sirs of England, the knights of the music's table. They save from the depressions of life we live. Then their light shines upon us as no others can, their prayers in tunes, their smiles shared without intent of deceiving anything back. Glory of the tunes, their swords of choice, but still they lift up the people to give faith and hope a chance and there, their greatness shines. These blessings of knights we cherish, and we always will. ❤️🙏 Here ye my friends, the knights of music😎 Sir Paul, the pleasure is mine to listen each time for you Sir knight, giveth strength in times we all need it.❤️🙏🔥
Paul McCartney is geniune legend. He was in the greatest band ever. He was in a songwriting partnership, Lennon and McCartney that was the greatest ever. Whether they wrote together or alone while in The Beatles, they were just awesome. Progressive, imaginative, powerful and beautiful. I would say the only artist who could compete with them for a time was Bob Dylan. As a solo artist he's never been able to reach those peaks again consistently. Nobody could. They wrote some of pop/rock musics greatest tracks, consistently, we will ever hear. He has written some real gems as a solo/wings artist. Some of his album's are now considered great work by a solo Beatle. McCartney, Ram is one of his best in my opinion, Band on the run has always been highly recieved. It's a perfect McCartney album. There's not a bad moment on it and it holds in it some great songs, the title track, jet, let me roll it, nineteen hundred and eighty five is one of my favourite solo McCartney tracks. Flaming pie and chaos and creation in the backyard are both brilliant later day McCartney album's. There's venus and mars, tug of war, flowers in the dirt. All good album's, but not what I would call classic. People will disagree with me, as everyone has their own opinions on what they consider to be his greatest work. That's what music is about. As an artist, I don't feel McCartney is the great songwriter who wrote Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude, Listen to what the man said etch. His music no longer appeals to me. But I have the Beatles album's, when he was at the height of his powers. I also have 7 of his solo and wings album's that I consider to be Paul working his magic. I hope he keeps making music for his many fans, as long as he can. He is a living legend. In my opinion he is among the 3 greatest songwriter's ever. Lennon, McCartney and Dylan.☮️
I love The Beatles, they are the band that got me seriously into music...so interestingly Paul (a man in his late 70s) using 'like' like a member of today's youth is something I both simultaneously hate and love!!!
I LOVE ❤️ this SO MUCH MORE than the original . When the original first came out and I saw his name, I remember immediately clicking so fast... and I was waiting for Paul to sing 🥺 only to find out it was just Kanye and Rihanna but all I did was smile every-time they showed Paul playing his guitar . 😭😭😭 Paul is all I live for in music 🥰

@@mauritius_pe absolutely. He can't sing it. It's like watching your grandad butchering some karaoke. It's such a modern song too and the style of vocals just doesn't suit him.
The Indie Diary Yeah, he's not a "musician". But that's being pendantic. And Paul has worked with Kanye three different times and said he's quirky but he likes him and would again. But I'm glad Paul has more forward opinions on music than some of his listeners do. Rihanna is close to beating a couple Beatles billboard records and is highly acclaimed but some people comment on her like she's nothing. Lots of folks with limited horizons and probably racism in their musical opinions.
People disrespect Kanye so much because of his mental health. It's actually really sad. Here you have Paul, one of the greatest singer/songwriters talking about the genius of Kanye... This guy who, in 2 days, creates a song that reaches the top of the charts... 2 days folks...
It’s really funny hearing Paul McCartney saying things like wildin’
HAHA “i heard you was talkin’ trash”
sounds like someone has never heard The Fireman
The real James Paul McCartney died in 1966.
It's Billy Shepherd (William) singing something Paul would never have done.
It would’ve been good to hear a young Paul sing this
I agree, but on the other hand his old-man voice is full of soul, I just happen to love it.
Technically Paul wrote that song. Not rhiana. So Paul deserves most of the credit
