Tonkinese are a domestic cat breed produced by crossbreeding between the Siamese and Burmese.
Like both parent breeds, Tonkinese are intelligent, active, vocal and generally people-oriented cats, playful and interested in everything going on around them.

I had seven Siamese an Tonks over the yrs an they are by far my instant choice over any others.

Where I work, a Pet Resort, I work with cats say like cleaning up after them. This breed, Tonkinese, are my favorite since they're adorable and friendly.

3 days ago i saved an abandoned kitten, he seems so ill and thin that i could see his rib cage. When home, he began to vomit and defecate liquid stool his eyes were swollen that he barely able to see his surroundings he was covered with hundreds of ticks and fleas when swipe his fur fleas and ticks are falling/skitering on my hand.
When i ask my vet neighbor his breed it was revealed that he is a tonkinese. Wish me luck raising and saving this boy
@Jim20 yes, he gained significant weight and is more active after i deworm 35 worms from his hody

I had a Tonkinese over years ago, he was the best cat ever! I miss him even to this day.

It's an Eastern breed thing, not a colorpoint thing (see the typically quiet Himalayan or Ragdoll)
