Dawgs fan here. From the outside looking in allowing your team to quit last year destroyed the culture. Regardless what happens to you in life You can never quit. And your coach was a big part of allowing people to quit.. just. My opinion
I’m nearly 70 and I agree with you 100%. We would’ve still lost, but think it wouldn’t have been the beat down we all witnessed. Of course our offense sucked without Travis, but think our defense with the ones who quit instead playing would’ve kept game a lot more respectable for us. Norvell should’ve gotten fired back then for losing control of team. This was our sign, but instead of getting rid of him we gave him an 80 million dollar guaranteed contract. He played us by making us think Alabama wanted him.
Interesting how he went from being the best red zone qb in college football last year , but you dont bring that atat up .How bout how many drop balls the recievers had . Your biases are evident. Your oline is the worst period . PERIOD. PLAY CALLER SUCKS .
I think Norvell was convinced he had a great run game and that Ukelele is so stacked in lower body that he would not get injured like JTrav. Remember Norvell foolishly playing JTrav in that game against the cupcake team and the tackler rides JTrav and breaks his leg?
Fsu brought in DJ because they were too cheap to pay Ward. Plain and simple. Where is the Battle's End money really going? Petty? Another one. Don't pay em, they'll go where they can get paid. Simple.
@@richardbrookins5406 I know 1st hand a player flirted with Colorado bc fsu was trying to short his salary from one year to the next. It's like they get to keep the money for self if not spent on talent and that's a problem. I know 4-5 years into a program, it's now your program and not once did Willie Taggart look this bad; nor took losses to the likes of Duke. I know with proper coaching and RECRUITING, no way a QB room should looks like FSU's. What else do you want to know?
Mike has not coached at a big-time program, so he does not know how to land elite recruits. Under his tenure, how many top players have FSU as their top choice? When they do have top players, they don't sign. Mike has a G5 mindset as it pertains to recruiting, and it has shown on the field.
@@LO_Seminoles…Miami has good NIL, but doesn’t overpay for players. In other words, they do not let players strong arm them. You get a fair offer, and if the player doesn’t want to take it, that’s their decision. Programs like Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, OSU, and Georgia are on a totally different level of “NIL.”
How about developing the HS recruits you chose Norvelle!! Don’t go blaming transfers for the coaching staff’s inability to recruit and develop players! How many of Norvelle’s QBs have worked out for the program…….NONE! This is all on him….he chose DJ

Clemson grad here DJ is a program killer there was all kinds of evidence of that. I agree NOT Clutch.
DJU a definite mistake. I thought Norville had lost his noodle when he took him. Go Tigers.
It’s called poor evaluations. That’s why it’s so important to recruit high school players at a high level. Norvell doesn’t resonate with recruits.

Great insights.
Again, it's the problem within the coaching staff. They don't like each other and don't work well together.
It's not the players. The coaches don't like each other or respect each other
I hope we don’t bring DJU back for another year.
DJ was the biggest issue, the team never bought in with him. Brock has now had as many reps as DJ had in week 4 of spring ball…
No, the O-line is by far the worst. Prime Michael Vick would've looked terrible behind this line. Worst in the nation

Why can't FSU recruit athletes that can play as freshmen. Other programs do

And you know this for a fact or are you pulling this out of your own arse?
@richardbrookins - Miami's NIL is far superior to most programs, FSU included.
