The fact that Southampton looked FAR more organised than us without even a proper manager just sums everything up.

But that's not surprising. Potter has literally NO tactics, we're showing no patterns of play on the pitch. He's genuinely THE worst manager I've seen at the club. Even AVB and Lampard had some way of playing, they look like geniuses compared to him! And he's after one of the best transfer windows in recent history... This man offers nothing. He needs to go now - and I mean RIGHT NOW. Get a caretaker in for the remainder of the season and hire a proper manager in the summer.

Anyone else notice how unorganised we looked without Thiago Silva and how uncomfortable Badiashielle looked, not having his guidance. That speaks volumes to me. He is more of a manager than Potter is at this point in time.
I couldn't see our formation a lot of the time because players were so unorganised. I could clearly see Southamptons' formation, and they don't even have a fricken manager. Felix and Fofana looked like a top 2, so I thought maybe a 4-4-2, but I have no idea honestly, and if I can't see the formation from the players on the pitch then maybe they don't know what they are supposed to be doing either, and that's how we are playing, cluelessly.
I feel for Tuchel and all the past managers that Chelsea had. If ever they got the time and backing like Potter gets. 2 wins in 16 games is unimaginable.

Big up Younes! I've been questioning Potter ever since November (just before the WC) and I am completely Potter out since last month. When is enough is enough? How many times some of the fan base will still protect this guy? 1st we give the excuse that he needed time because he didn't have his players. Later we used the excuse that most players were injured. Later we say that new players needed time to adapt. Now the excuse is we are not performing because IT'S LIFE and we need a BIT OF LUCK??? Watching Eddie Howe’s Newcastle shows so much more quality, identity, organization and style of play than us while having 10 men and being 0-2 to Liverpool. You can tell there’s a pattern of play and the players are still up for it. It’s embarrassing, frustrating and atrocious that Potter can’t even conjure up anything with the quality of players we have.
Maybe you just watch these matches with the wrong mindset.

@Lynx Sphynx Contrary to what y'all think about Roman, he didn't boot out coaches that early... Even Frank stayed till the second half of the season before he was shown *red* to create room for Tuchel.
After Tuchel was sacked and replaced by Potter, I stopped watching Chelsea games and wasn't excited about the signings cus I knew from the onset that Potter was a receipe for disaster. We do not have a coach.
The fact that Lopetegui and Emery managed to made their impact in a shorter amount of time than Potter speaks volumes. Southampton played better as a team WITHOUT a freaking manager than us is another level of embarassment. Enrique and Zidane would've done a FAR better job than him with this immense amount of talents in the squad and if some people still believe in Potter, give me some of the drugs that you're on cuz you guys are definitely has reached another level of high so much so that you've lost touch with reality😂

The problems with the current Chelseafc team is that Graham Potter and his coaching crew lack the tactical nous to handle a top team. Here are my observations:
1. The third man runs game is missing.
2. The tactics he’s deploys is old school and outdated.
3. He seems not to know how best to make use of those top players so he is trying to make use of counter attacking pattern which seems not to be working.
4. He’s trying varieties of tactics where he’s not well updated with so he only tries to copy every top manager tactics in the league but he’s forgotten that these coaches had worked so hard to perfect those tactics with their players. You cannot just copy another manager’s tactic on the surface.
5. He is consistently changing game plans.
6. He lacks a specific pattern of play.
Now here are my suggestions:
1. Someone should tell Potter to play tactics he understands well. Stick with it till it works.
2. He should play players that can do the counter attacking football forget about beautiful possession base football he doesn’t know how to win with it.
3. Tell him to go back to 3-4-3 or 352 what he succeeded with in the past at Brighton FC
Honestly Younes, you are the best Chelsea TH-camr. Not only do you say it as it is, you also don't have that English player/manager bias and that's refreshing. But I'm happy that you have that "old Chelsea" way of thinking coz that is the thinking that has worked for us over the years
1. Training sessions seem relaxed
2. No tactics and in game management
3. Subs are paradoxical
4. No pressing, no defending of set pieces, and the ones we take oh my gosh they are pathetic
5. Potter just clapping all game speaks volumes, he seems to be afraid of the players and I don’t think he has the guts to call things as they are

It is fair to question Potters selections and subs but you have to question what is going on with the players and their inability to put the ball in the back of the net.
How can we be so bad with the players we have, practically anyone could manage this team you would think. I think the owners will stick with him until the summer. The only thing that I think can explain it is some of these players are only at the club a few weeks. I think unless we end up in a relegation battle we should stick with him till the summer and at least give him a chance to get these new players playing as a team

We have to play a DM and advance Enzo’s position, madueke still very raw and lots of possession giving away, in terms of this season he is better be using as a impact player. We needs to play 433 , zakaria siting in the midfield, Enzo and kovacic/ RLC as 2 No.8 , have more numbers and protection in the midfield. Mudryk and sterling both wingers and Kai Havertz or Felix up to or false 9 . We got out run in the midfield, we have to sacrifice one or to attackers for extra midfielder

Today, Potter's shambolic coaching proves it all to everyone. Sacking Tuchel was a blunder and appointing Potter as CFC manager was the biggest mistake from the onset.

I think Mourinho is a good option for this team because he can get the best out of the team and can also bring the winning mentality(which I think we are absolutely missing), albeit a bad football style, but who cares. I think he has the capability to make the team a big one again. And he may be able to bring out the best of DDF, mount and Gallagher and even maybe RLC since he has had either similar moulds of players or even the same player

To be fair, Tuchel couldn't beat one of the worst manchester united sides last year. Couldn't beat Ralph ragnick and Micahel Carrick. I wanted Tuchel out, and had high hopes for Potter because Potter's style of play was far better than Tuchel's. Potter's Brighton side played Tuchel's chelsea side off the park last year. On the other hand, it seems that Potter has caused a decline in the performance of all the superstars on our team, to the point where they would not be valued at more than 1 million pounds. 3 main ingredient Chelsea is missing on this match is Scoring Goals, Solid Defense and Teamwork and Coordination.

We have an good interim in the club already, give Anthony Barry a shot, the guy is good. He came in under Lamps to do one thing, train freekicks and corners, and w became the best team at those, later when Lamps left other came in and his role was diminished, TT and this Clown trusted their own assistants more, so w started shipping goals from corners and we haven scored from a corner in months.
